- Watch the stepladder finals from the 2021 PWBA Reno Classic in Reno, Nevada. The finals took place Oct. 28 at the National Bowling Stadium and was broadcast live on BowlTV.com.
The stepladder finalists included Maria José Rodriguez, Missy Parkin, Julia Bond and Stefanie Johnson.

Terrible break for Maria! You got to give it to Julia though. Very strong mental game. Im not surprized she came on so strong in the clutch. She looked like someone in controll, and boy did she throw it good!

Damn, poor MJR. She did NOT deserve that leave for that shot. Bowling is such an unforgiving sport sometimes. Ah well.

How can a shot that is very likely to leave the 10 pin, be characterized as a "bad break" ?

Congrats Julia! Great bowling by all and such a bad break for Maria. My heart bled for her. Bowling can be such a cruel sport sometimes.
You know what’s kind of cruel sometimes when someone announces the winner in the first comment section. I guess nobody really needs to watch it now. Really pisses me off.

As Stefanie Johnson said earlier in the show ..... "That's the way the cookie crumbles " but in the end, things usually have a way of evening themselves out ...... especially in bowling. How many times have you left a solid ten on a seemingly good shot, felt "ripped off" got mad, and sometimes then go on to miss the spare ? Then later ..... poor execution on a shot, and you go Brooklyn, and carry the strike ..... and you feel good about it, makes up for those solid tens ......
Very good show today. IMO PWBA are generally good shows. Here is my take on two bowlers:
The good: Maria Jose is back on TV and made it to the championship match.
Julia Bond won the third title this year.
The bad: Missy Parkins can't seem to catch a break and been on TV like several times this
year and never wins since 2011 or 2012 a championship.
Maria Jose Rodriguez had a bad break in the tenth frame which caused her to not
win the championship.

Great broadcast. Outstanding educational commentary by the great CDB. Details of form are critical. I was discussing yesterday with one of my best friends about staying solid at the line, and he proceeded to destroy the rack. Also, watch the elbow. Even the pros get theirs out at the delivery sometimes. They can get away with it, but that's a tantalizing mistake, and should not be repeated or accepted. The most deceitful thing in bowling is to make a form mistake and get your best pin carry of the day, then neglect your form.
Why is that guy sitting by himself wearing a mask? Come on, enough with the fear!
