The bat secondary accessory decided to give up after a particularly hard swing. It broke the component that connected the bat to the case, and the bat went flying out of the room and knocked a hole into the hallway wall, ricocheting off of said wall and then bouncing its way down the stairs. Wonderful situation to explain to my parents. Might I add that the bat was made entirely out of hard plastic?
