It's actually pretty crazy that these schools in the CIF City Section have such horrible playing conditions. The funding for schools in the city section is waaaaaay lower than in the CIF Southern Section (schools like LB Poly, Calabasas, Centennial, etc) and most players transfer or play outside of the City Section these days. Back in the day guys like De'Anthony Thomas, Hayes Pullard and Marcus Martin all played for Crenshaw... and all ended up in the NFL. Now, guys aren't playing for the home city anymore.
