He was enraged and slapped each band member in turn across the face, until he got to Riley, who socked him in the eye (note the makeup). Supposedly this morning after interview broke the ice... but Riley still got sacked soon after.

far out, this was Saturday morning tv - Sounds was on Channel 7 from 8 or 9 to noon, channel 9 was Hey Hey Its Saturday, Channel 10 was who knows what - it was impossible to get a good signal anyway.
