Hi I have SPS reef tank , I want to buy now the new latest Hydra 32 HD light what do you think friend Do you recommend me provide some T5 bulbs too for combination, or I can achieve best results just with the Hydra led without any combination with T5 light? a few people told me that if I want to get best grow and coloration I need the combination LED with T5 with your trial what do you think friend, do I really need it?
Hey friend, thanks for watching! Love the hydras, the colour the hydras emit themselves was the deciding factor there. Just relied upon a trusted company to know that they are producing a spectrum beneficial to the corals in the system and chose on the look of tanks with them alone. After seeing some tanks with T5 the acros do look stunning however they are just an expense/maintenance i can't deem necessary yet due to only being so new in the hobby and not having an epic tank looking to go that extra step with yet. Currently running the 5 x 52HD's on the 6foot 750L to see if can provide the same results with an excessive amount of lenses to provide more of the blanket lighting like t5's provide.
It used to be on a 10-100% alternating gyre with a 1 second interval to provide the nice wave. Have recently just changed both gyres to independent random gyre mode and have seen a nice improvement in P.E. from this.
I would say most likely some type of lav. I would watch videos by Jimmy of Aquarium co-op (Swhiskey). He’s the guru and I think he talks about recording gear. Maybe reach out.
Thanks for the feed back. Getting the exposure dialed in has been one of the trickiest parts of filming the reef tank. The lighting is so intense and probably needs some better filtering also.

Would say average 10 liters per day. Hard to have a specific figure as the temperature and humidity here change so much through the year.

Thanks heaps! Aim for about 300 par. Bounces around between 250-350 at the highest points of the scape.
