I teach using just one of many accents in the world. Please only learn it if you like it and if you are interested in learning it. I do not believe there is one “correct” accent or manner of pronunciation and I fully encourage EFL/ESL learners to expose themselves to as many varieties of English around the world to become accustomed to the beautiful variations of this world language. I focus mostly on teaching “Modern RP” (I may just say “RP” in my older videos, but to clarify, I do specifically mean “Modern RP”), however, you will hear a lovely little Yorkshire twang to my accent from time to time too. Please LOVE and BE PROUD of your accent. After all, it is part of your identity and makes you unique. 💚

How are you mam
O people, we are your sisters, I swear to God, we will not have even a grain of bread inside the house. Does that please you, mother? Muhammad al-Nas is a brother. Oh God, make fun of us, your righteous servants. Oh God, make fun of us, your righteous servants. My call to me is to every Muslim, O Lord, if he sees this message, make him happy and protect him for a long life. May God reward them well. God is sufficient for me, and He is the best disposer of affairs. There is no power nor strength except with God. O people, oh the mother of Muhammad, oh people of goodness, oh people of mercy. We are your sisters and your sons. I swear to God, we will not have even a grain of bread inside the house. Will that please you, mother of Muhammad? I only spoke out of hunger and distress. I am My mother and my sisters have been displaced from our homes because of the war. We are in a state that only God knows about. God is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs for those who brought us to this situation, and God is the One It is great that you did not write this appeal other than out of distress and poverty, O All-Knowing One. It is decisive for us. I hope you. By God Almighty, Lord of the Magnificent Throne, He is the only food I have. At home, I swear to God, my brothers. My brothers sat for two days without eating. By God, our situation is very difficult. We are 6 people inside the house, and my father is dead and there is no one There are people who depend on us, and we live in a rented house. We cannot pay the rents that remain on us.'''''''''''' ''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' ''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' ''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''My brother, my first words I swear to God on the Book of God that I will not lie to you, nor deceive, nor deceive. I am a Yemeni girl displaced from the war. My family and I have rent and the owner of the house. By God, my brother, he comes every day and insults us and talks about us and wants from the house to the street because we could not pay him the rent. The neighbors saw us crying and came back to talk. The neighbors gave us a deadline until the end of the week, so we made an oath to him by God. This one will take us out to the street. Have mercy on him and us. Our country is due to this war, and we cannot find food for our day, and I, my brothers and I are living on a embassy. Our father is dead, may God have mercy on him, and there is no one among us in this world who came to support us in these harsh circumstances. My younger brothers went out to the street and saw the neighbors eating and stopped at their door, so they would give them bread even if they broke it. By God, to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, they were uncircumcised. The door and they kicked them out and they came back crying. They died of hunger. No one had mercy on them. I gave them a holiday. I made a living. Now if one of us helped us with a kilo of flour, I swear to God, I am dying of hunger. For me, my brother, I am an intruder to God and then to you, and I want your help for the sake of God. I implore you, by God, you love goodness and you will help me, even if it is for 2000 Yemeni riyals. Message me on WhatsApp on this number 00967,713651282 and ask for my card name and send it and do not delay and may God compensate you with all the best, my brothers Sagar, see how they are and help us and save us before they expel us in the street. You will be lost or we will die of hunger. My family and I ask you by God if you are able to help us. Do not be late for us and may God reward you with good. ~~_«%•&»_~~_~&:»'+"! $«%"-,=[°•&∆√°°^✓

OMG. Lorand Order? I can't get behind that. It's not even a transition from "Lah" to "And" but a transition from "Loh" and "and." Just become better at making very short pauses between words for clarity. My own habits in speaking "least accented English" in foreign countries are very often appreciated notably as they often found I am easily understood when I speak English to them despite it not being their first language. I speak to be understood with clarity of sound and of meaning. This is the English we should all strive to speak rather than teaching others to learn to hear transition sounds between words.
There are times when transitioning vowels is fine. Many languages require it as many such languages only recognize the 5 basic vowel sounds in the first place. "Eye" is actually "Ah"+"Ee" transitioned together. But the notion on inserting an R sound when you otherwise refuse to actually make the R sound if a word ends in R seems amazingly inconsistent. While I was pleased with the way you use the R sound in "Correction" the "o" vowel is pronounced entirely wrong.
I criticize Japanese speakers as well. Don't mistake that I don't. They often hear things that they never say at all! Their language depends almost entirely on understood customs. A common phrase used meaning "also this" or "also here" is "Mo aru yo!" If you guessed they actually say "Mario" you would have guessed right! And they will deny they are actually saying "Mario!" Another common thing heard in Japanese shops is "Irasshai masseh!" I ra sha i ma se. You may have heard that before. But in some shops in the Kanto region, you will hear them say ""Shai-seh! Shai-seh!" and when I ask them what they said, they would say it properly as Irashaimase. I have come to believe they actually do not hear themselves speak nor do they hear someone speak when they are not Japanese in appearance. Many times I have spoken perfect Japanese to people in Japan and if they were not looking at me when I spoke, they would respond as expected. But if they saw that it was me? A white guy with blue eyes? They would often claim they didn't understand me or just say "Eeeeh?"
I've grown to become very good at hearing vocal sounds and repeating them exactly as I hear them. I don't think it should be a rare skill. All one needs is the ability to listen without "interpreting" and the skill to use your mouth to recreate the sounds. I say "without interpreting" specifically because I find most difficult pronunciation is actually based on how words are SPELLED in Roman letters and their local customs for pronouncing those words. That is to say when people listen with interpretation, they mentally try to spell the words they hear using their own alphabet or syllablary. If you're not familiar with non-English/non-Latin written methods, some word elements are written as syllable sounds rather than combinations of consonants and vowels. Japanese and Korean are such languages but there are many more outside of the far East. Are runic languages similar? I have not gone into that before but remain curious.
The spoken language in general is a mess and it doesn't matter what language you are speaking. But if you are speaking English, I find it's best to speak the more "Universally understood" English rather than anything that might be considered national or regional. And when speaking a non-English language, you should use a similarly universally understood" version of their language. Spanish generic is better than Spanish Mexico, for example. And Tagalog should also be spoken in a Spanish generic style.
I think you should focus more on generic English and less on regional English, honestly as this is beneficial to both old English learners as well as new English learners. If they learn a more generic English, wherever they go, they will have a higher probability of being understood which is the true purpose of learning another language.
I think people should learn what THEY want and what they feel they need the most. Let's not judge people for just wanting to communicate, use natural features, and understand connected speech when it is used. :)
Are you learning Japanese, Emma?
