Yes! Finally a video about this. The struggle is real when you're a hijabi, and you choose not to apply body sprays/perfume's among non-mehrems. I've been a natural deodorant junkie for year's and the only thing that has ever worked for me for the WHOLE day, was lime juice on my underarms! Take it from someone who has even tried a strong natural deodorant for men. It works for only half the day. 🙄 But I can even apply lime juice the night before, and the next morning I'm odourless for the whole day. 😼 even after working out, I'm sweaty, but it doesn't smell of sweat. It smells of boiled water and lime juice. TMI, I know sisters, but for something with ZERO chemicals it's amazing Mash'Allah.
@Kingu 11 Both work equally well! 2 more tips, before you cut your lemon/lime, roll it on a flat surface. This ensures you get the maximum juice out of the whole lemon/lime. Apply and squeeze the wedge on your underarms, and also under and around the bosom. Wait for 10 seconds for it to dry. Then remove with a dry towel or tissue. Thank me later sis 💄

Miss Understood Haven’t been using it for too long but I like the scent, I don’t smell really bad when it’s on. You do need to reapply though. They sell it at Target, TJmaxx, they even have their own site you can order from but it’s more expensive on their site. I would recommend it though.
Alhamdulilah this is actually the natural deodorant that I switched to recently and I absolutely love it! It smells great, is natural, and actually works. A lot of other natural deodorants don’t work or take some time for your body to get used to in order to work, but I find that this isn’t the case for this deodorant, so I’d definitely recommend this in the lavender and sage scent!

I know this is a year later, but Schmidt's Bergamot + Lime natural deodorant is the best one so far and I've tried them all..tom's, nubian heritage, queen helene even lume, but I've always gone back to Schmidt's because it definitely works. Their wild rose, and charcoal work as well, but the bergamot & lime has the best smell.
Another tip for stinky sweating: bakingsoda is a wonderthing: just put a little bit under your arms. The whole day i dont sweat or stink. It is so coool! The best deodorant and natural!

Hi! I hope this will be helpful. I started making my own beauty products, from simple and natural materials, and I'm making my own deodorant as well. Now, it is the best deodorant ever! I found that it is more efficient than any of the products that are out there to buy. It doesn't stop sweating as such, but prevents smell, even for 2-3 days, which is amazing! And it doesn't have any perfumes in it, just a mild aroma of coconut, but only if you get your nose in your armpits. And it's incredibly easy to make and it's cheap. You buy ingredients in bulk and you're sorted for couple of years, or just make them for the whole of your family. You don't need to keep it in the fridge, it can't go spoiled. Its consistency does depend on the outside temperature, so if it's incredibly hot like in some countries it can be, at those times you might want to keep it in the fridge. So here it goes! Deodorant recipe (original one): - 5 tbsp of coconut oil, slowly melted - 1/2 cup of bicarbonate of soda - 1/2 cup of arrowroot/cornstarch powder - few drops of essential oil as per wish My twist on things: * I just put the coconut oil briefly in the microwave and it works just fine... * I don't put any essential oils, it smells of coconut, which is fine in itself (plus, I find that the two smells would clash; but it's a personal preference) * arrowroot/cornstarch is nothing special, it's used in baking, and here it simply gives the appropriate consistency... I bought it on Amazon * when oil is melted, I add all other ingredients (that I've mixed beforehand) and just mix well; I just use a spoon and my hand-power 😄, and then transfer into smaller containers (shallow ones I find are easier for use later), and leave to cool It's hardness will slightly vary depending on the room temp. Regardless, I just take a pea grain size bit with my finger out, and when you press it onto your armpit, it melts due to body heat, so you can easily spread it. And that's it! 👌🏻

Yes, you're so right. Alum powder is from the mountains. I apply alum powder, like baby powder all over my body when I come out of the shower. It's a natrual deodorant as you said, and an anti perspirant (it stops you from sweating).

MashaAllah very good video. The best natural deodorant I've used is the Salt of the Earth unscented deodorant stick. No B.O , however it's not an antiperspirant but I have noticed I sweat less with this. :)

You can use rose water as a moisturiser, since yoir face is covered. You have khimaar sets who are full in coverage but light in fabric, and maybe use a half niqab (the ones that doesnt have that upper layer, only a bottom one) May Allah swt, reward you. I have noticed that khimaars in the summer are really cool and airy 😂 (excuse my bad english haha) I am not a niqabi, but i have a lot of respect for you sisters. May Allah swt reward you all. In my country they recently did a ban on niqab, its really frustrating and sad, but khair In Shaa Allah.

Idk about natural but i used to use rexona roll on deodorant maximun protection (confidence, is the one i used) and it worked really well. I still smelled nice the day after, it has a bit of a creamy texture. But i recommend that one! It is a bit pricey compaired to other deodorants but works well.
I would like to recommend natural miswak toothpaste for muslimah who suffered from sinus or anything that caused their breath slightly smelly. Malaysia brand Halagel produce very good miswak (kayu sugi) toothpaste.
Assalam o Alaikum. Potash alum (Phitkari) works best as natural deodorant. Simply rub it under armpits after taking shower and it really works! Been using it personally for sometime now and I no more use any other deodorant or perfume.

Good idea, it helps to understand what you're saying in the prayer and how it all came about. Like, tashahud was a conversation between Allah and His Rasul صلى الله عليه وسلم. And dua Ibrahim (A.S.) is said at the request of Nabi Ibrahim (A.S.) this helps to concentrate when you understand why you're saying what you're saying. Hopefully that makes sense.

@@ko-xb6uj hmm, ADHD, like when you lose interest in something pretty fast right? Have you tried reading Surah A'laa daily to help with staying focused? Honestly, I'm teaching my eldest to pray based on how his day went. If he had a good day, he should pray (salah) and thank Allah for all the things he remembered as being good. If he had a rough day, he should pray (salah) and thank Allah that his day wasn't any worse. But if he cannot remember what he's supposed to pray about, he should write it down. Writing helps. Try writing down the rules of salah, or the reason why you are praying salah to begin with. I truly hope this helps. Maybe I should make a video about it, but I think sister Nafisah will make one insha Allah.

For the deodorant i use Alun stone powder : i put some under my armpits and i'm fine for a whole day, no bad smells ! Actually this is the only thing that works for me all the other deodorants last about one hour only on me 😊
I've been using that recently as well. I usually use it after shaving since it's known to be good for that. But noticed it had a deodorising affect, so I kept up with it.

Best perfume is White Musk(مسك الطهارة، المسك الأبيض ), smells pure and soft, really powerfull smell, you just put a drop on a wet wipe( because it has a sticky texture) and put it on areas you like behind the ears, armpit..... (its natural so you can put it every where) , make sure when you buy it you look for a trustfull person, because you can find non original versions And brids SHOULD buy it 😍

I have ideas that i got from the Sunnah to stay cool. In the winter, eat dates with cucumber. Dates produce heat in the body, and cucumber keeps you cool. Eating them together, will give you a normal temperature. In the summer, apart from wearing cotton maxi umbrella dresses.. Eat a lot of cucumber, and any melon of your choice. These actually produce coolness in your body, whereas ice cream doesn't it just TASTES cold and yummy 😋. If you can, nap in the afternoon after Zuhur. Thats when the sun is at its peak. Napping, cools the body. Apply henna anywhere on your skin, and/or hair. Henna draws heat out of the body. The more heat is in your body, or the weather around you..The more visible your henna colour will become. This won't work with black henna. That gives you cancer, plus it's got black hair dye in it (isn't even henna). If you really like black henna, youtube search Jaguar henna. Its a paste from a black fruit, in henna cones. Its not henna, but its all natrual and you won't get cancer from it. I'm a plus size hijabi too.

Sweeten at your liking. Drink once a day, over a course of 3 weeks. This can reduce especially the nervous sweating. Don't use while breast feeding because it can also reduce milk.

Yes! Finally a video about this. The struggle is real when you're a hijabi, and you choose not to apply body sprays/perfume's among non-mehrems. I've been a natural deodorant junkie for year's and the only thing that has ever worked for me for the WHOLE day, was lime juice on my underarms! Take it from someone who has even tried a strong natural deodorant for men. It works for only half the day. 🙄 But I can even apply lime juice the night before, and the next morning I'm odourless for the whole day. 😼 even after working out, I'm sweaty, but it doesn't smell of sweat. It smells of boiled water and lime juice. TMI, I know sisters, but for something with ZERO chemicals it's amazing Mash'Allah.

@Kingu 11 Both work equally well! 2 more tips, before you cut your lemon/lime, roll it on a flat surface. This ensures you get the maximum juice out of the whole lemon/lime. Apply and squeeze the wedge on your underarms, and also under and around the bosom. Wait for 10 seconds for it to dry. Then remove with a dry towel or tissue. Thank me later sis 💄

Miss Understood Haven’t been using it for too long but I like the scent, I don’t smell really bad when it’s on. You do need to reapply though. They sell it at Target, TJmaxx, they even have their own site you can order from but it’s more expensive on their site. I would recommend it though.

Alhamdulilah this is actually the natural deodorant that I switched to recently and I absolutely love it! It smells great, is natural, and actually works. A lot of other natural deodorants don’t work or take some time for your body to get used to in order to work, but I find that this isn’t the case for this deodorant, so I’d definitely recommend this in the lavender and sage scent!
If anyone is looking for good underscarves, I recommend the ones from Haute Hijab! They dont give me any headaches and they are super breathable and comfy! No sweaty scalp and perfect for any time of the year.

I know this is a year later, but Schmidt's Bergamot + Lime natural deodorant is the best one so far and I've tried them all..tom's, nubian heritage, queen helene even lume, but I've always gone back to Schmidt's because it definitely works. Their wild rose, and charcoal work as well, but the bergamot & lime has the best smell.
Another tip for stinky sweating: bakingsoda is a wonderthing: just put a little bit under your arms. The whole day i dont sweat or stink. It is so coool! The best deodorant and natural!

Hi! I hope this will be helpful. I started making my own beauty products, from simple and natural materials, and I'm making my own deodorant as well. Now, it is the best deodorant ever! I found that it is more efficient than any of the products that are out there to buy. It doesn't stop sweating as such, but prevents smell, even for 2-3 days, which is amazing! And it doesn't have any perfumes in it, just a mild aroma of coconut, but only if you get your nose in your armpits. And it's incredibly easy to make and it's cheap. You buy ingredients in bulk and you're sorted for couple of years, or just make them for the whole of your family. You don't need to keep it in the fridge, it can't go spoiled. Its consistency does depend on the outside temperature, so if it's incredibly hot like in some countries it can be, at those times you might want to keep it in the fridge.
So here it goes!
Deodorant recipe (original one):
- 5 tbsp of coconut oil, slowly melted
- 1/2 cup of bicarbonate of soda
- 1/2 cup of arrowroot/cornstarch powder
- few drops of essential oil as per wish
My twist on things:
* I just put the coconut oil briefly in the microwave and it works just fine...
* I don't put any essential oils, it smells of coconut, which is fine in itself (plus, I find that the two smells would clash; but it's a personal preference)
* arrowroot/cornstarch is nothing special, it's used in baking, and here it simply gives the appropriate consistency... I bought it on Amazon
* when oil is melted, I add all other ingredients (that I've mixed beforehand) and just mix well; I just use a spoon and my hand-power 😄, and then transfer into smaller containers (shallow ones I find are easier for use later), and leave to cool
It's hardness will slightly vary depending on the room temp. Regardless, I just take a pea grain size bit with my finger out, and when you press it onto your armpit, it melts due to body heat, so you can easily spread it. And that's it! 👌🏻

You can use rose water as a moisturiser, since yoir face is covered. You have khimaar sets who are full in coverage but light in fabric, and maybe use a half niqab (the ones that doesnt have that upper layer, only a bottom one) May Allah swt, reward you. I have noticed that khimaars in the summer are really cool and airy 😂 (excuse my bad english haha) I am not a niqabi, but i have a lot of respect for you sisters. May Allah swt reward you all. In my country they recently did a ban on niqab, its really frustrating and sad, but khair In Shaa Allah.

Deodorant salt! I've been used this type for years and it costs cheaper, more natural and no odour 100%!
Idk about natural but i used to use rexona roll on deodorant maximun protection (confidence, is the one i used) and it worked really well. I still smelled nice the day after, it has a bit of a creamy texture. But i recommend that one! It is a bit pricey compaired to other deodorants but works well.
I would like to recommend natural miswak toothpaste for muslimah who suffered from sinus or anything that caused their breath slightly smelly. Malaysia brand Halagel produce very good miswak (kayu sugi) toothpaste.
Assalam o Alaikum. Potash alum (Phitkari) works best as natural deodorant. Simply rub it under armpits after taking shower and it really works! Been using it personally for sometime now and I no more use any other deodorant or perfume.

Good idea, it helps to understand what you're saying in the prayer and how it all came about. Like, tashahud was a conversation between Allah and His Rasul صلى الله عليه وسلم.
And dua Ibrahim (A.S.) is said at the request of Nabi Ibrahim (A.S.) this helps to concentrate when you understand why you're saying what you're saying. Hopefully that makes sense.

Honestly, I'm teaching my eldest to pray based on how his day went. If he had a good day, he should pray (salah) and thank Allah for all the things he remembered as being good. If he had a rough day, he should pray (salah) and thank Allah that his day wasn't any worse. But if he cannot remember what he's supposed to pray about, he should write it down. Writing helps. Try writing down the rules of salah, or the reason why you are praying salah to begin with. I truly hope this helps. Maybe I should make a video about it, but I think sister Nafisah will make one insha Allah.

For the deodorant i use Alun stone powder : i put some under my armpits and i'm fine for a whole day, no bad smells ! Actually this is the only thing that works for me all the other deodorants last about one hour only on me 😊
I've been using that recently as well. I usually use it after shaving since it's known to be good for that.
But noticed it had a deodorising affect, so I kept up with it.

Best perfume is White Musk(مسك الطهارة، المسك الأبيض ), smells pure and soft, really powerfull smell, you just put a drop on a wet wipe( because it has a sticky texture) and put it on areas you like behind the ears, armpit..... (its natural so you can put it every where) , make sure when you buy it you look for a trustfull person, because you can find non original versions

In the winter, eat dates with cucumber.
Dates produce heat in the body, and cucumber keeps you cool. Eating them together, will give you a normal temperature.
In the summer, apart from wearing cotton maxi umbrella dresses..
Eat a lot of cucumber, and any melon of your choice.
These actually produce coolness in your body, whereas ice cream doesn't it just TASTES cold and yummy 😋.
If you can, nap in the afternoon after Zuhur. Thats when the sun is at its peak. Napping, cools the body.
Apply henna anywhere on your skin, and/or hair. Henna draws heat out of the body.
The more heat is in your body, or the weather around you..The more visible your henna colour will become.
This won't work with black henna. That gives you cancer, plus it's got black hair dye in it (isn't even henna).

Salamu alaikum, another tip against too much sweating is drinking a mug of sage infusion everyday, for three weeks, this will reduce sweating and the smell of it as well.

@@samirahtss Salam dear sister, you just take one tea bag of sage or one teaspoon of dry leaves or a tablespoon of fresh sage leaves, blanch with a cup of boiling water, let sit for 10 minutes and strain. Sweeten at your liking. Drink once a day, over a course of 3 weeks. This can reduce especially the nervous sweating. Don't use while breast feeding because it can also reduce milk.

Asalaaamu alaikum sis. I sweat alot. And my foods come out in my b.o. lol i use. Schmids rose &vanilla deoderant it lasts through my sweatiest days ESPECIALLY when im out with my 1 year old. Ive tried bergamont n lime that ones better for lighter days. And the lavender and sage is the weakest in my opinion but rose and vanilla really combat odor.
