Patchouli is very tricky. Sometimes it can be the element that makes an incense like "three kings" sing (think old world cathedral). At other times it can smell like a cigarette shoppe (not great). I think if it is mostly Frank, Myrrh, and then like 5% patchouli that works. I do love the ancient smelling perfumes. I am waiting for the Khadlaj Le Fede Opera. I am tempted by Ophidian.
I sent Mohra to my sister who is actually an Explorer! She told me it is so interesting smelling. I cannot even be bothered by the mass produced western perfumes anymore. I do love one of the Santa Maria Novella perfumes and will always buy that one.

Nothing can dupe Guidance, but that's fine because I find it too heavy for me.😂 I prefer Pure Amber. It feels more complete, the performance is better, and I feel it's a bit smoother and of higher quality. Exotic Flowers was such a wonderful surprise! The bottle does not represent the fragrance at all. This is more feminine leaning than Initio's Narcotic Delight. Beautiful.

Some people say Black Cherry is similar to Kayali Lovefest Burning Cherry. Somehow Burning cherry to my nose smells like bournvita but with an added cherry note 😅 i have no idea why. I own and love rasasi ebhar. I've tried Burberry goddess in Sephora and I can't stand the lavender. I have not tried or purchased angham because of my dislike of Burberry goddess. Is angham really similar to ebhar?
Honestly angham and ebhar smell so much alike that it would be redundant to own both in my opinion. I can't choose which one I like more though since the differences are so small. Once I finish Angham I will replace it with ebhar. I will take turns swapping them lol@@brittanyb5293

And confection is nice . Ive also got all the nudo collection. But let exotic flowers sit and after a few weeks its definitely got better . At first I found it quite weak . I had a great find ive got riffs Angelique extrait of vanilla. Its the really strong and a dupe for royal sugared pattchuli..cant imagine what this will become given time . Its cheap and im really impressed. Ive never tried the og ..but upon first spray i immediately bought a back up bottle.. miraj exclusive is really spot on dupe for bewiching yasmine its lovely. Leen is also a 10 out of 10 its a beautiful perfume. Its similar to jadore lor but nicer with that touch of mango .ans sweet paradise has also been back up bottle for me to it is amazing..has anyone tried fragrance world ambrose ? Its a dupe of geurlain cherry oud it is also really unique. And anyone looking for penhaligans halfetti cedar then fragrance world have a great one called historic cedar. Its really good much better than moyrah .

Lily of the Valley is an actual flower with a very specific fragrance. It's definitely NOT a "fantasy scent" or not. Amber is an accord, resinous, warm and oriental. I wouldn't call that a fantasy note, either, considering it's been used in perfumers for about a century. Wouldn't a "fantasy note" would be cupcake, cashmere or sunshine?
There's not likely to ever be a 1 to 1 dupe of Guidance. Amouage is one of the .0111 percent of perfumers who continues to create their fragrances with natural ingredients (absolutes, extractions, distillation, etc., etc.) The whole of perfumery, 99.9%, uses chemical compounds and synthetics. Which they've been using for decades but with IFRA and the rise of the allergen, naturals are becoming extremely rare. They're too volatile, expensive and it is highly difficult, as well as expensive, to attempt to ensure the natural ingredients were procured/sourced ethically, then there are over harvesting and sustainability concerns, not to mention shelf life is longer and batches are more consistent with synthetics/chemical compositions. It's just a little unlikely that there will be a spot on dupe but an "inspired by" is likely. I'd be surprised if Alexandria Fragrance doesn't have one, already! 😂

Amouage is one of the .0111 percent of perfumers who continues to create their fragrances with natural ingredients (absolutes, extractions, distillation, etc., etc.)
The whole of perfumery, 99.9%, uses chemical compounds and synthetics. Which they've been using for decades but with IFRA and the rise of the allergen, naturals are becoming extremely rare. They're too volatile, expensive and it is highly difficult, as well as expensive, to attempt to ensure the natural ingredients were procured/sourced ethically, then there are over harvesting and sustainability concerns, not to mention shelf life is longer and batches are more consistent with synthetics/chemical compositions.
It's just a little unlikely that there will be a spot on dupe but an "inspired by" is likely.
I'd be surprised if Alexandria Fragrance doesn't have one, already! 😂
