Kirk and Tommy are some old school New Orleans soldiers. I remember seeing Tommy in SOILENT GREEN and Kirk in WREQUIM in the late 80’s. Like wine, they’ve only gotten heavier and better with age.
I use to would say Im jealous, now I just am happy that whomever got to experience it. Born in '75 here. Traveled like a gypsy addicted to speed when not doin time & have 5 DOWN tattoos. Thing us Ive seen crowbar, eyw hate god, PanterA & went to a C.O.C show but dont remember shit. The acid kicked in & O got lost behind a jukebox until a waitress saved me "I just need to not piss my pants, doll" 🤣smh. But Ive never seen DOWN or met the fellas besides Dime, twine. Sounds like you've seen some great shows 🤘🤘

Technique is pivotal to Good Sound "How Kirk & the Band Plays" .. Not only do they Sound Huge but frequency, you can hear everything everyone's doing, it Cuts. I'd imagine he's not Overly EQ'd, etc? I saw them once, a young girl was doing their Sound .. one of the best I've seen? Thanks for the Show man!

As a follower of Down and Crowbar, I can assure you this is just the crisp basic Marshall Amp Sound every Guitarrist has to their disposal. Crowbar decided to leave it as it was because their riffs were already crushing
@@warpig2786 they are playing solid state randall rg100s with a boost pedal up front, thats the classic crowbar sound. that being said... katanas are great, they are brutal amps

Stoked Kirk switched back to the old Randall RG100es, their tone is incredible sounding here.
Saw Crowbar nearly 20 years ago with Hatebreed and S.O.D. here on Chicago, was a fantastic show, love their new album, it's heavy, as usual!!🤘🏾🤘🏾
