Holy crap. Thank you, thank you dude! This is the first video I've come across that demonstrates how this little amp handles edge of breakup tone, I.E. what happens when you crank the gain on the clean channel, and how the sound changes based on pick attack. And I have to say it sounds great. So thank you again. So many reviewers ignore this, and to me this is what i HATE about digital\modeling amps, they can never get that right. Yamaha comes real close. So, Liked and Subscribed.
I finally got my THR30II (Black) 9/3/22 - and I am very impressed. I've been playing thru-it Constantly. I used the editor tonight (1st time) and it really opens-up the Full Potential of this little-Beast. Created 4 amazing presets. oNe LovE from NYC
Great amp! Got mine last week (Black). Out of the box it is excellent! On low volumes it sounds better than any amp I tried last year. The blues tones are very sweet.
@@DrewCreal The black one was pretty hard to find. But it looks stunning (wife approval). Thanks for the presets. The 2x12's for some presets works very sweet. cheers!
I was hoping it could do more mellow sounds. Certainly this i the only video I have seen to demonstrate what happens when you start clean, add more gain. It seems to do what most amps do - become 'crunch' or fizzy and harsh in my opinion. Which is fine if you like that, but I like a more mellow blues sound. The best example is Chris Cain's My Mood, for example.
Have the same amp. I love it. Your playing is really nice. I think this video has 4 nice blues + a metal one, (the 5th tone), I also love the Special setting, but do you think is for blues ? Thanks for sharing 🤘🤘🇪🇸
Hi! Why is it that when I use exactly the same tone settings as yours, my sound is drastically different from yours. The sound is much less overdriven. Do you use any additional programs or effects besides THR Remote?
That could be a lot of factors, but I think the pickups are probably what is bringing the drastic difference. The pickups in the Squire tele are low output, but the ones in my Orange Kiesel are medium to high output if that helps. The compressor can bring a lot more drive on the low gain amp models so definitely tweak around on that. I hope that helps, just keep trying stuff until you get a decent tone that you enjoy playing through.
@@DrewCreal I have already found the perfect preset settings for me. It took me a little time to understand the THR Remote settings. But in the end I found for myself the settings that I like. Anyway thanks for ur answer :>
You can edit tones on your phone or iPad without a cable, but you can also plug into your laptop or desktop computer to edit tones with a traditional USB cable.
You don't have to like my guitar to like my channel, though my orange guitar happens to be my favorite. That's the beauty of playing guitar, there are so many different options and you can take your time to find what suits you the best. I'm fairly certain I was able to find a guitar that works for me.
@@DrewCreal Were you blastiing those high gain pickups full blast? Or did you dial them down a bit? I guess many blues guys are using teles for instance.
Best video/tones yet! Awesome stuff! Would love to see more in this series. 5 punk tones, 5 doom/stoner , 5 indie, 5 thrash etc
Thanks! Will do!

This truly is the Swiss-army-knife of the music ( mainly the guitar ) playing cummunity.
You are correct Mr. Gunnar dude 😎

Oh man, I would love to get a black one!!! Enjoy it!

Oooh, I'd like to get psychedelic with my blues tones!
Just what I was looking for… thank you.
Glad this helped!
I’d love to hear some delta and Chicago old school blues examples, BB king, Albert King etc
That little amp is amazing considering it is a home table top amp

Thank you for the videos! It would be great if you could share your tones (files) too 😄
I'll try and get those up on my website this summer, thanks for your interest.

These are some modern pickups.......
Do I need a cable to connect the amp with a windows pc or is it possible without like it works with an IPad?
You can edit tones on your phone or iPad without a cable, but you can also plug into your laptop or desktop computer to edit tones with a traditional USB cable.
Can you save more than 5?
Unfortunately the internal memory in the amp only allows for 5 presets.
@@DrewCreal ok, what about in the App presets? Could you store excess ones there?
I think you can also save them to a file name as well as to one of the presets.
Couldn’t you just do this directly in the amp itself ?
I want to like your channel but that guitar bugs me. Not sure why,

Yes, I do.
