- I love this keyboard cause is very fun to program-play and it sounds very unique. Beside it's powerfull Solo Synth section for which the keyboard is known the instrument has a lot more functions and options including the Hex-Layer Section, Drawbar Organ Mode & Step Sequencer which is very fun to play with. I'm using the XW-P1 often in my live shows & throughout the years I've programmed a lot of sounds, performances and step sequences for various songs. In this video you can hear a few of those Preformances. I'll upload the performances, tones & step sequences on the Casio Music Forum and put the link for the download here in the video description.

Hi Kristian,...a great demonstration of this great instrument. As you wrote,...it's a lot of fun to create new sounds. I don't want to miss it anymore. Unfortunately I only discovered the video now. The bell on YT doesn't really seem to work.

I’ve been saying this for a while, DON’T GO TO SLEEP ON CASIO!! If you spend time with the xw-p1 you can get some good sounds out of it! Kristian is proving it! Also my man Larry Dunn (earth, wind & fire) also doing some wicked stuff with the xw-P1 and the Px-5s. Sorry that Casio discontinued the xw-p1.

This is a Performance which uses 2 Zones. On one zone it’s a factory String sound and on the other is one Synth String modifed-edited by me.Had in plan too upload all the tones & performances on the Casio Music Forum but didn’t find the time yet.Hope I’ll find the time soon to put all of the sounds from the video online.
