An approach, this was just the approach....
This video has some variety in it as you will see we cover scrambling, climbing, and route finding. So if you're a person who likes variety then this video is for you. With that being said this video doesn't cover the actual climb, that deserves its own video.

I did it last summer all the way up but we left early and we also didn't take the same first part to get to the first big plateau at 7min of the video it seems to me, we solo up a different part with a handful of no falls allowed territory . We also didn't take the same way to climb up around 8min of the video.
And then we finished by doing the big face from the end once you reach the last plateau by going left, where the route has anchors so we had at least some way of knowing if we were going in the right direction. There is a way to the right were it's pure trad. It was overall sketch, and it was our first descent alpine objective too. So fun at the end of the day though.
Good job man. Looks amazing. Can't wait for part 2. Makes me want to go back out there

Great views up there Phil nice work man! Ive been busy with life and have missed a bunch of these summer adventures! Your skills are really amazing keep on crushing it out there! I see theres a new Insta360 cam that looks pretty sick, might be great footy mounted on your helmet! Not sure about the battery situation with them though, I'm sure thats been an investment with GoPro for winter activity lol

Oh man the batteries are an ongoing battle and I somehow lost 3 of my 4 winter gopro batteries which are not cheap! We'll see how this winter goes, will maybe invest in some new equipment. Good to hear from you again!!

Castle is a monster. Looks pretty moderate from the highway not being one of the big glaciated peaks further north, but the 14km hike out after doing one of the rock routes will put it into scale. I want to do Super Brewers if it weren't for the fact that it'd be a 20 hour day, and the 5.9 grade is probably 5.10...
Easily the most epic crapper on the planet too if you make it to the hut.

Yeah Super Brewers looks great! Definitely want to go back and try that one.
