Omg as i told you before, you are amazing. What a coincidense, I'm unemployed, because of the virus, AND i decided to study french on the net. Believe me it has been nice to learn french while practicing english with u. Haha keep up the good job.....blessings.....ohh i forgot to thank you for your advices, you are perfectly right....
Thank you so much for this video, I'm from Panama and I want to move to Ottawa as well but I need to improve my french as I consider it to be lame. a few months back I started paying for a tutor and this lady was making us (yes it was a group of 20 first then 12 quit) feel bad... if you didn't understand the class she just continued and was careless if you learned or not, I had to leave the class and now bought some books from amazon (still waiting for them) to start learning french on my own. 3 years ago I learned English in 6 months just studying by myself and later improved my English with tv shows and an English environment (jobs, friends). I just want to tell you, it works! dedicate at least 3h daily and I'm sure at least you can achieve a B1/B2 level.
I am coming to HEC this fall. I have planned the same as you First Duolingo and online resources till A2 then join some classes in montreal for B1 and B2.
I speak Russian, English, and Italian. I hope French won't be too difficult. French spelling seems crazy. I mean, I'm already fed up with English spelling.
Thanks for the video and the advise, I am not going to any French place but I am learning , and my tutor doesn't convince me, and I would change, and also for the aps and videos, big hugh from Paraguay!!
I speak Tamil as my mother language, German and English. I studied Frenchn Spanish and Italian in school, but French is the only language I'll have in my upcoming final year. I'm not that bad in French, I can understand things others say, but I make tons of mistakes when I have to say or write something. That's why I have to revise French grammar I already learned during my holidays. I hope everything goes well, otherwise I have a big problem sith my grades in french...😬🙈
Danke für dein Video! Ich möchte mein Französisch verbessern, weil ich ebenfalls nach Kanada möchte und gerne in Montréal für paar Monate leben möchte. 🙈
Thx for the video! I'll do my academic exchange year in Montréal and would love to know, if you have any recommendations for a good institution to learn French? 😊
Hey, cool videos Yulia! They flow fast and when they are over you actually feel you learn something useful. I’d love to have your opinion. I’m planning to move to Canada soon. I’ve already started the admission process to college. Anyway, I’ve read it’s a bit harder to get the residency in the province of Quebec but I’m not quite sure. I mean, I do speak both French and English and in fact I feel it could be easier moving to Quebec considering this. It keeps my attention that you studied in Ontario but ended up in Quebec. So I guess that I would love to know is your personal experience regarding residency process and what made you go for Quebec rather than staying in Ontario? Hope we see more of your videos soon :)
I’ll make a video about my journey soon 🙏🏼 I wouldn’t go to Quebec because the processing times here are ridiculous. in Ontario you can get your residency in 6 months, in Quebec it’s 2+ years 😭
This is Yulia thanks! I wanted Quebec but after reading this, well, I’ve changed my perspective. I guess this is the kind of info that you don’t know until you actually move into a city. I mean, I know moving to Canada is not gonna be easy but why would I make the residency process harder, right? Хорошо, Большое спасибо!
Amazing Yulia Thank you so much Really !!! Thank youuu ! 🙌🙌 You are very clear and inspiring !!! 💪🙌👏 Do you think it is possible to create a video regarding Francisation for international students ? It is just one idea 🙈🥰 Thank you so much !
What is the exact score you have to get in order to immigrated to Quebec somebody told me it's B2 in speaking and listening and B1 in reading and writing is it correct?
Can you tell me how you switch your original career and present it to the embassy to receive study permit? I mean, you studied languages in Russia and then you said you work as a developer in Quebec, which means you studied something related to IT in the college, right? How was it possible to change career without jeopardizing the study permit?
Ma'am call you please tell me if it's true or not... I've heard that duolingo english test is now invalid in any university in 🇬🇧UK... Is it true or not 😑
Hi i have also been learning french by myself since past 4 months. For first two months i followed basic online course to grab the language and afterwards i immersed myself with french & also payung attention to grammar. Can you let me know in how much time you were able to get a good hold on language. Like b1 or b2. As you also learned the language by yourself till b1 level... And provide tips also
