Hey everyone welcome back to another video! Today I am super excited we are taking a look at this AMAZING and AWESOME Class C Motorhome from Nexus! This is the 2024 Viper 29V. This is a Class C Motorhome with 3 HUGE SLIDE OUT ROOMS! What makes this RV Special is the fact that it doesnt have a bunk over the cab, It has Fullbody Paint and Steel Cage Construction! We bought this unit 3 years ago, after delivery we took it to the truck scale and discovered it was within 200 pounds on its rear maximum weight rating.
This unit was empty folks, no water cloth or anything,with the water tank and all other tanks on the back axle, how far do you think 200 pounds go, NOWHERE.
The company said it’s within its weight limits, the dealer said call the company,nice isn’t it.
So we dumped it, took a loss.
So lesson learned, before you sign the deal, get it weighted, as for quality, yes loose wires everywhere, poor quality like all the others
I really don’t like camp side slides. I would rather have an larger awning. There isn’t enough outside storage. They should have a cover on the water connection area. I like having a bunk over the cab. There should really be a pantry and a bit more counter space. The bedroom area is nice with plenty clothing storage for much longer trips.
Hi Matt and Andrea! My dud likes are no cover over water connection, the toilet too high up, no pantry, no latch doors for storage outside. My likes are the bedroom, the interior, the fact it had three slides. Thank you Matt and Andrea!
I like this! My changes.... Make the entire bunk over cab area cabinets; move the TV opposite the couch; give the option of replacing couch with two recliners. Main dislike is the shower/bathroom configuration. As Matt said, I would tolerate the current bathroom configuration to get the oversized living area. This would make it the almost perfect couples motorhome.

The paint is absolutely gorgeous. The one concern I have is: I read quite a bit about the fit and finish of the Nexus models being a little lacking. Has this issue been addressed and being worked on? The comments I see is structurally and mechanically they are nearly indestructible which is very appealing. Also a question. Some for the floorplans have a single basin kitchen sink and some have the double sink. How is it determined which sink goes into a particular unit?

The video states that the CCC for this unit is 1636 pounds. I find that hard to believe unless it is calculated without any people, fuel, propane, or fresh water. I love the floorpan but the very similar but slightly smaller Phoenix Cruiser 2910T only has a CCC of about 1100 to 1200 pounds.
My class c from Jayco is a Melbourne 29D with 3 slides
It seems that RV has some serious quality issues. It seems the slide on the passer side was not flush when the slide was in and in some compartments on the driver side the cables and this flap were hanging down not to mention this open valve and water connection (was there a cover missing?) and the wasted space in the compartment with the hook-up cable and the inverter or transfer switch. A Class C should have a bunk of the cab otherwise what’s the point?
Hey guys... another great review. We have decided on getting a Nexus. Just deciding on which model.
I will be at the Hershey RV show and I am looking forward to the changes to the upcoming 24 models. I hope that they put theater seating, also what's up with all those😮 loose wires in the dump tank station . Slam Lach doors, and hide the water stuff not a fan as it may compromise my water safety. Extension on the sink, and maybe Nexus could change the shower and put in square where the toilet is and put the toilet where the shower is , basically a swap out. They should try to put a washer/dryer combo in the back closet or have a prep one in the event that someone would want one and let's not forget the TV in the bedroom too.
I think in hot areas you need at the very least one 15,000 AC and 3 big special fans..always my problem with Bigger C's.

Nice unit. I like the non-bunk-over-the-cab version, with opposing slides. Also not a big fan of raised toilet.
I would like to see a Class C toy hauler (in the back) with a greenhouse dome roof!

Is the noise the generator, engine or a/c on roof?
Can someone answer: 1. Does the rooftop a/c only run off the generator? 2. if yes, can you run the generator while driving? 3. If no, is the cab a/c enough to cool the coach while underway?
Hey Matt don't forget that the Coachmen Concord also has opposing slides. I'm going to put you on the spot here.....if you had to choose one,....Concord or Nexus Viper?

I love these rvs but man even though I’m ok with the price it’s the no counter space that will turn a lot of people off. Unless this is used by one person only the counter space for cooking in the kitchen is going to hurt
Barely any room for a coffee maker even. No real pantry space either.
@@mrziggy2939 yes, the person that buys this is a person that knows nothing about rving and is talked right into a deal that he will regret very shortly. Why would a manufacturer make an rv with not counter space at all.
Yep, totally agree. Would prefer a reclining love seat instead of the sofa as well.
Give me class A driver and passenger seats that rotate 180 degrees. Those become my theater seat/recliners and it means you can have a shorter RV. Put the dinette on the slide across from the kitchen. I don't mind bed on a slide IF I can use it with the slide in. I dont mind split bath but radius shower is a disappointment. A bunk over the cab is nice for storage or guests.
What is the location in Hershey RV show?
I wonder if they have a version of this exact motorhome but with the diesel engine?
So.... do the windows open? And do they have screens ?.?
I have 2014 Thor Motor Coach CITATION M-29TB (Class C) thats 32ft long, with 3 slides, 2 in living space, 1 in bedroom, same floor plan as that one
Don't like the water connections not in a lockable compartment
Nexus sure has cheapened the dinette up in this model that is a deal breaker for me. No slam lock doors in the compartment. not enough CCC for me. This coach had been hit on the rear bumper area. I'm sorry to say now with the down grades the Entegra Odyssey and Jayco Greyhawk is much better value. they should have left it alone.
Did they beef up the front suspension so it will stay aligned longer due to front end weight😊
sd springs has inexpensive 5000lb coils to replace the stock 3100lb ones

First and Foremost I usually hate the color of RV's But That Freaking Blue Is BEAUTIFUL. I did not Realize it till I Saw it in the light, man it's Beautiful. Love the opposing Slides, it makes it verry Spacious inside. But I don't like the dinette, a recliner would have been better, the drawers under the sink could have been bigger and there should be a counter extension on the side. Other than that, it's a Nice Home.

I do like the full body paint. Likes: nice space with opposing slides out, light colored cabinets, Dislikes: twisty storage door locks, weird location for outside tv, no ladder (deal breaker), tight with slides in, kitchen has no counter space (deal breaker), why no tv in bedroom? ccc?

I just finished watching a video for a Benimar Tessoro T486 that although smaller, blows away this in terms of design and storage innovations.
You can't get them here, in the US, where all of this channel's videos are filmed. Plus, that isn't even a class C. It is a B+ and ten feet shorter. Not even in the same class.
Every Gas class C on the market these days (in the past ten years or so) is 7' high inside. But this one is only 6'5''. That's a deal breaker for me. So close to perfect though.
what about 1492?
My only real complaint is that the TV is not directly across from the couch

There isn't anything that I like about this RV. There are other Class C's that are far superior to this layout and storage.
It would be better if it had a diesel engine
Not a family RV unless the family has little kids. It's okay for a couple and way better than a B.
Nexus RV’s always look unfinished to me. Water connection on the outside is horrible, wiring in the bay looks horrible.
Just say no to tv's!
3 dislikes storage, not enough. Could improve storage by decreasing the size of the trim. Queen bed. Loose wires in wet bay, safety issue. Likes are tough. Three slide outs big space in living area. The last like could be a dislike. The area over the cab has storage but not much .
Have owned two motorhomes, Jayco RedHawk 26 class c and now a Jayco Precept 31UL This Nexus is not designed user friendly and no t worth the price.

Dislike - the L shaped kitchen in the slide, you can't access a lot of it while traveling. Andrea - I've never seen you mention those as a dislike !

Biggest class C? No sir. That would be the 1492 Coaches. Built on a class 8 truck chassis. Far bigger than this thing

Sorry, but I’m not liking at all the cheap twisty cargo door locks, no ladder, the cheap jackknife sofa, no countertop space, no oven, a subpar TV position, the tiny “come watch me shower in the hallway” radius shower and the pedestal toilet😩
This RV isn't worth the amount of money there asking for it. Everything is Flimsy.
