Heck, i believe that if Leao is sold in the future, Milan could just buy Mudrik for 20 millons from Chelsea and he could become one of the top left wingers in his first season.
I wouldn't be so sure about that. Pulisic and RLC have been good in Serie A because (well, they've stayed healthy) it's a less athletic league and so they can create more time and space for themselves to let their skills be effective. RLC maneuvers like a cruise ship, he has good pace once he gets a head of steam but he's not quick. In the EPL he was not quick enough to win battles in midfield because the ball would be gone or change direction and he would be out of the play. it's just their strategy of signing 23498237 players. Boehly targets different kinds of players than Abramovich did (the most high profile promising your prospects vs the high profile superstars), but they both love bloated squads where they have too many good players to fit in. No surprise to me that it happens, someone should really just tell them to stick to signing the players they actually need
Pulisic spoke of it himself in a interview. Chelsea brought in too many players competing for the same position. It makes minutes sporadic, and being cold on the bench to suddenly going 120% on the pitch leads to far greater risk of injuries, as your body isn't on a rhythm of what stress to expect from playing. Nope, there's a basis of a good squad there, Pochettino was just a terrible appointment, to be clear, Pochettino isn't a bad manager, but this squad wasn't built for high-pressing chaos football. basically the only midfielder in the squad who really suits Pochettino's tactical blue-print is Gallagher, who has the lowest ceiling and technical ability of all of their midfielders and who the board want to get rid of. it's a matter of a lack of cohesion between scouting, board and managerial ideas. Even with that chaos, they're only a few points off the Europa League spots, while it's been a bizarre, inconsistent season, there's signs of strength there, particularly in their games against the big six: (2W, 3D, 2L, which is comfortably better than City have managed in the same set of games), they've also beaten Brighton twice, Newcastle Twice, and Villa once at Villa Park, while reaching the league cup final and FA Cup semis. Pochettino probably won't be in charge next season, if Chelsea actually appoint a manager whose style suits their squad blue-print (ironically, Sarri would be a good bet) they'll be fine, because the actual base of the squad has massive talent.

While I don't completely disagree with the Pulisic pick, I think really the issue was that he was playing for Chelsea. A club in such a mess, spending money on every young player they can get their hands on. He went from Dortmund, a club notorious for youth and young player development, to a club where the expectations are high and execution is all but thought out. Now, as an American, it was really frustrating to watch Pulisic at Chelsea. Not only was he frozen out by multiple managers, but whenever he would see the field he would perform well and contribute to goals. However, somehow Tuchel and others still found places for severe underperforms like Havertz in the starting lineup and Pulisic couldn't ever get anything consistent besides garbage minutes. Now, I understand the injuries, and yes they were definitely not helpful. But what happens when a player is not getting consistent game time? They are more likely to get injured. If Pulisic was getting the consistent minutes he deserved (as a standout player who would consistently bring energy to a depleted and broken Chelsea side), he most likely wouldn't have had so many injuries. I know I can't prove anything, but I really feel like the fact Pulisic is American kept him from shining in the PL. Frustrating to hear people talk about how Pulisic has done poorly in his career while completely ignoring the systematic and bassackwards issues in the club which he was employed.

Chelsea need to change their medical team Pulisic and RLC were always injured for us they should just replace them with people who went to schools that Milan doctors went to
On Pulisic... turns out when you bench a player they don't rack up goal contributions. And turns out that if they make a move to a team that will play them they find themselves getting goal contributions again. Wild. Maybe Chelsea fans labeling him "a flop" was a bit unfair. I realize there are plenty of US fans making points like this on social media, but we were seeing him ball out every international window. We knew he had more than Chelsea gave him credit for. Seems that Chelsea had a lot of misused and abused talent on their hands though.
Ferland Mendy should be mentioned too, after losing his place to new signing Fran Garcia and central midfielder Camavinga now he has made the left back spot his own again one of the first name on the team sheet with great preformances all season

Chelsea need to change their medical team Pulisic and RLC were always injured for us they should just replace them with people who went to schools that Milan doctors went to
Pulisic always performed internationally while at Chelsea, dude was played inconsistently AND out of position
Make top 7 best players in every position that series is the one that made me love this channel
As soon as I saw the thumbnail I thought of Pulisic. Man’s having a wonderful run of form.
How harry Maguire is not in this much less number one is rough on the bloke
Will you make a video about the championship situation and hull?
Phillips has been a mare
Ferland Mendy should be mentioned too, after losing his place to new signing Fran Garcia and central midfielder Camavinga now he has made the left back spot his own again one of the first name on the team sheet with great preformances all season
Love your videos! Thank you 🙏🏼
Can you please do - 7 best one season wonders?
Michu
Guru has definitely bloomed late but I'm so glad he got there, the pressure he applies is incredibly annoying for other teams and he does have a shot on goal. Thank you for shouting him out.
It's great to see Isco back to his best. I always rated him and thought he should've been Iniesta's natural successor in the national team. When he's fit and on form, he's one of the best attacking midfielders in the world.
Next on the agenda: The endless history of Chelsea injuries. This issue isn't spoken about enough!!
I just learned about one of the most fascinating and amusing stories: Why Dundee United is an insult in Nigeria. This reads like a perfect topic for an HITC Sevens episode!
Isco, what a player. From no contract, to being one of the most important players this season in La Liga. Hopefully, we see David De Gea in this list next year
yes, I mean players like de Gea could easily find a club if they decided to take a wage cut
Taking a sledge hammer since joining west ham,
YOU GENIUS
#thepeopleschannel a video on the Bangladesh premier league and the rise of Bashundhara kings would be good
A team who went into the top flight after promotion and won the last four league titles now!
Are they the next Newcastle? Are they a team to keep a eye on next few years? Thanks Alfie 😊
What About Kai??? From Chelsea Flop to 16 G/A in the prem?
Kai Havertz has to be top spot.... 70mil transfer to arsenal everyone wrote him off (myself included) but he's scored 9 goals with 5 assists and is growing with confidence
blud didn't get the point of the video
He signed for 70mil he was hardly written off, just bc people said he was overrated doesn’t mean he was a washed player.
He was not fully written off. He went to Arsenal fam. This is mostly for those who were on their last chance to prove they still got it. Harvetz still has a long career
Hi Alfie, really enjoy your videos. Would you maybe consider making one about Eintracht Frankfurt?
great video as always brodie
Pulisic is only 25?! WTF!
Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Ross Barkley : sure miss you guys at Chelsea!
Another great job!
Ross Barkley has been amazing to watch.. he deserves to get a call up back to the England squad.. COYH
Bailey and Konsa for Villa, Joe gomez for Liverpool,Maguire for united, Richarlison for Spurs, Johnstone for Palace, Paqueta for West Ham,Jacob Murphy for Newcastle , Willian at Fulham,
Unfortunately Torres' move from Chelsea to Milan didn't work out as well as some of the players here, but that was a different Milan back then.
Alongside Fellaini, Giroud & Busquets, Isco is definitely one my favourite players ever. Glad he's doing well because not only is he beautiful, so is his football.
Expected Guirassy to be on this list, although he's more of a late bloomer than one who saved his career.
Cancelo was always good. He just plays his best football when he is the main man in his position
Hey man, I have a specific video about football I'd really like to make a video on some day. I was just wondering what you do for the images in your video? I can see that you've got the getty watermark on your photos? Are you just using the preview images for the photos? Are you licensing them all out? I have no idea what to do as a creator just starting out and I was looking for some advice.
I pray HITC Stevens will be uploading Freddie Adu Champions league compilations in 2030 😂😂😂😂
Players meeting keen competition in epl so hard to perform themselves . I dunt doubt their improvement as they play outside
Well, Luton is not quite as sunny or picturesque as not just Nice, but also as Hull.
Damnn that a lot of former Chelsea players on the list.🤣🤣🤣🤣
Chris Wood was surely the most obvious shout ever
AC Milan are the Chelsea rehabilitation facility. Giroud, Tomori, Pulisic and RLC all flew when they signed.
It's pretty funny how most Europeans pronounce Pulisic's name as "Pulisich" (Pulisić) as if her were Czech or Croatian, but nah ahaha, I don't wanna by that guy, but it aktshually Pulisic (Pulisik)
Thank you for this comment! I know it’s difficult to switch gears when the Slavic pronunciation is deeply engrained but you manage to pronounce Thierry Henry without a hard English H. It’s seriously like nails on a chalkboard to American ears. Puh-lis-ick…
He’s literally of Croatian heritage. He could have played for Croatia. He just can’t pronounce his own name.
