The Loop (1983) Episode 2

For your attention on the official TH-cam channel of the Odesa Film Studio (@OdesaFilmStudio) is the continuation of the exciting detective story “Inspector Losev”. The film was shot at the Kyiv Feature Film Studio named after A. Dovzhenko in 1983 by director O. Goyda. Like the prequel, this film is an adaptation of the detective story of the same name by A. Adamov.
The role of Inspector Losev, in contrast to the book, is a supporting role, the script brings to the fore a new character - Inspector Vasiliev. Initially, it was planned to film the entire trilogy of novels about Inspector Losev, but the filmmakers settled on the second one, killing the hero in the process.
In a construction pit in which a huge underground garage is being built, the corpse of a young beautiful woman is discovered. Her money disappeared, her apartment was robbed, but... this is not murder. After identification, it turns out that the deceased is a certain Vera Topilina, who before her death worked as a secretary for the head of Glavk Menshutin. Why would she suddenly commit suicide? The case is entrusted to the operatives, who, step by step, gradually find out who brought the girl to such a tragic end...
