    I have purchased 2 amazing vintage watches from Derek,one is 1951 longines square dress watch, the other is 1984 tudor Oster prince day date. Besides having amazing vintage watches, Derrick is a very honest man A very rare in this field

    Absolutely stunning pieces. They really don't make them like they used to. One of the prized possessions in my collection is a 1927 Bulova Art Deco Rectangular. Just a gorgeous piece

      Vintage Bulova watches are fantastic! Many of their rectangular pieces have a model name to them as well.

    Excellent video. Stunning rectangular Omegas from a time when elegant design was par for the course. Thanks for the continuing enlightening horological education.

    Love seeing your collection. Wish I can see them in person. I have a few old Omegas but definitely nowhere near your knowledge and collections.

      Thank you for your comment. This is the channel to learn more about vintage watches. Unfortunately, I do not have a storefront.

      @@TimelessHistoryChannel Yeah, I like to check out Omegas now more for pure admiration than for collecting more. I am getting to the age where I should consider selling some of mine. LOL Too bad you don't have a store front, otherwise you can tell me which ones I have are good to keep and which ones I should sell.

      @@Meandaddy I see. well, I have the donate option on the site where you can send me any questions unrelated to the products that I have for sale. Or you can always become a channel supporter on Patreon, where I can assist you with any questions there as well. Only $1.5/month. 🙂

    I would have to say I love them ALL. You have good taste. My favorite rectangular watch would be the JLC Reverso but I could never afford one but I have to say that Omega made some beautiful models and they are more affordable and probably more available. Thanks for the content and am looking forward to your new strap line.

    Thanks once again for sharing! I have 2 Hamiltons from the 30s, an Otis and a Gilman. I do very much want to add an Omega and both the CK3516 and 3595 are stellar!

      You're very welcome. Do you mean Otis referring to the Hamilton Otis reverso? That's a super nice timepiece!
      If you enjoy what you see in this episode, I just uploaded part 2 this morning. Check it out!

    Great videos...Your content is one of the best on TH-cam. I am a collector of vintage Jaeger-LeCoultre's watches. I love the Uniplans from the 30's. The Omega Reference CK 964 reminds me of my Uniplan. Is it available for sale?

      Once I can complete another 2-3 episodes, I'll start listing some of these rectangular pieces on the site. So stay tuned for that site update if you have already subscribed to my website email. CK 964 is a beautiful piece, indeed. I should have another JLC-related episode in the near future as well. 🙂

    Sao, what’s the lug width of most of these Rectangular Omegas, some of my Other brands have 15mm and straps are hard to find…and the black dial is my favorite

    • @TimelessHistoryChannel
      @TimelessHistoryChannel  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      They are usually around 16-18mm. But I do have one that takes a 15mm strap also.

    Where can I find your straps for a 16mm wire lug omega t17?

    • @TimelessHistoryChannel
      @TimelessHistoryChannel  หลายเดือนก่อน

      There are many strap suppliers out there that supply. The one I bought is from a Japanese site. May be a bit complicated to order. If you are not planning to spend too much on a strap, you can always look at Hirsch straps.
