This song was a favorite in my high school days (class 85’) , today 2024 this song impacts all the years of my life ❤ with tears of joy and at the same time tears of hurt 😢
In 1985, I was a kid.
A couple of years later I happened to come across this song.

Buddy, you have a year on me. Met the love of my life in Dubai, 1979, married a few years later. Still married, still in love this was one of the songs we danced to. Best of luck and remain blessed.
Nice to hear long marriages are still out there. Met in dubai wow. Mine was a naval submariner. 4 kids and 3 grandchildren later. Family is so important nowadays with all what goes on in this world❤

I think there is long term married people but things change today. My 3 girls are all married 7 6 and 3 years gone. My mum and dad notched up over 57 years before they departed. Dad in Dec 2019 from dementia related pneumonia and mum in April 2020 from blood clot on the lung during covid so unexpected. Miss them everyday this song has special meaning x❤😢
@@DawnChappell-z4m Lost my dad, three days ago, coming to terms with Dad's loss will be a marathon task I may not be entirely capable of completing. I doubt very much if there is a remedy to heal this pain. So I share your grief. I have now lost both my parents. I wish you and your family joy and peace. God Bless you 🙏
