- Hi everyone, today I'm gonna show you the proper way of using the Manual Feed Slot and it's correct paper sizes.
So what are the different types of papers that you can load into the manual feed slot?
You can load Glossy Photo Stickers with 90GSM,
Glossy photo paper with 235GSM and
Sticker labels with 150GSM.
Reminders:
Load only one sheet of paper in the manual feed slot with the printing surface face up.
Using both hands, push one sheet of paper into the Manual feed slot until the front edge touches the paper feed rollers. Release the paper when you feel
the machine pull it. The Power LED blinks three times to indicate the manual feed slot is ready.
Take note:
You can only load one sheet of paper in the manual feed slot at a time. Doing this may prevent a paper jam.
When printing multiple pages, do not load the next sheet of paper until both the Power LED and the Warning LED are lit.
DO NOT load paper in the manual feed slot when you are printing from the paper tray. Doing this may cause a paper jam.
How to remove the paper when it is already loaded into the machine?

I used to use an Epson ET-2550 th-cam.com/users/postUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 , an early model of the ink tank style. It worked well, but had one nuisance that drove me up the wall; if you didn't put it in high quality print mode you'd get a streak across the page. I'm happy to say I have yet to see this with this printer. The print quality has been fantastic so far, the set up was super easy. All in all I'm very happy with this printer.

Hi, you should try using lower gsm paper.

Hi! The machine automatically use the manual feed slot whenever there's a paper detected/feed. It's not necessary to remove the paper tray below. Thank you!

Hi! There's no maximum thickness for the manual feed slot as long as you use only one sheet (any paper) at a time. For the paper tray and multi-purpose tray, maximum paper capacity is up to 80 sheets of 80gsm plain paper.

yes, you can't use this for scanning po. a4 / b5 lang rin kaya iscan ni printer 🥲

edit mo lng, ginagamit q canva... i-customize mo ung laki ng bondpaper mo, kung gusto mo landscape, pagpalitin mo lng ung size sa custom paper size tapos drag mo lng ung image

Yes, you can use 180, 200, 230, and higher gsm as long as you use the manual feed slot.

Hi! We recommend to use the manual feed slot when photo printing since photo papers usually have higher GSM.
This may cause paper jam if the paper that you are using is not supported by the paper trays. You have to consider its thickness. Thank you.

Hello. Did you experience printer roller marks on glossy photo paper?
Yes. What I did was to use lower GSM papers to minimize the ink marks. I also clean the machine's print head. Thank you!

It is important that you place the paper correctly in the manual feed slot to avoid paper jam. If this happen, where the warning led lights up, you can press the Black (mono) Sttart or Color (colour) Start.
