I enjoyed learning new finishing techniques making the pears. 🍐 Turkey Day is a beautiful pattern, lots of details but probably a good pattern to work on filling in some areas once they are outlined. Great little finish for that carved frame! If you ever run into the problem of the finish coming off on your fabric again, try rubbing the inside of the frame with some fingernail polish remover/acetone...good chance it'll remove it. Happy to see the finish on the scissor holder matches some of your decor! Your livestream is on my calendar, see ya soon.
Great tip, thank you! The scissor holder does match my decor. Most of my home and furniture is warm tones so it’s perfect. I only use brighter colors in my craft/stitching area. Hope you can join us for the live! 🪡
Your framed flower is beautiful on the agave linen. How much linen is needed to do the 3 pears? Is 13x18 enough? The wood scissors holder is stunning. A very generous & thoughtful gift. Looking forward to seeing your stitching progress in your next Flosstube. TFS.
Thank you so much! I think a 13 x 18 would be enough to stitch three if you’re using 18 or 36 count. I didn’t measure the piece of fabric that came with the kit and it doesn’t say on their website. I remember cutting my fabric in 4 pieces so I had the extra piece to do the flower. 😀
