MERVI!! ❤ I wish I had tips on how to be less productive or how to break the cycle. I just noticed that being on social media, I often tend to compare numbers and views with how my art looks and to want to focus on the product I made, instead of focusing on the process. So while I still don't exactly know HOW to stop doing this, just noticing it is already good, and trying to do more stuff just for fun, stuff that I won't necessarily share here... Etc. Thanks for your insight. It's always so soothing to listen to you talk! I will keep waiting for your videos to come out and waching them ❤

Thank you so much my friend ❤️❤️❤️ Yes all these numbers here are taking some of the fun out off it and giving an extra pressure. I need to keep reminding myself I don’t have to draw/paint/make everything to be published. ❤️

This was excellent. I was absolutely burned out in 2020, and oddly the pandemic was a blessing. I have been really adding nonproductive time into my life. When I was a kid I liked staring at the sky and now I do that. I doodle. I take walks. None of it is really unproductive because my mind is pondering possibilities and ideas. It’s been lovely to give myself that space.

Yeah, it’s never really unproductive. But perhaps the difference is in whether you are actively or passively productive. Trying to be actively productive all the time is the real problem. Staring at the sky is always lovely. And walks are really good for physical health as well as mental. Thank you! ❤️❤️❤️

Great chat about productivity and the burn out. Nice to see your face as well! One thing I always ask myself when I create is “ Am I creating from inspiration or desperation?” When I create from inspiration I’m less tired and burnt out. Anytime I’m desperate to create I definitely end up unhappy. Having fun during the creation process is always my motto! 😊

Yes! 🙌 Of course it can feel really difficult to get to that inspiration and joy, if you’re already (heading towards) desperation. But that’s when a good break will come in helpful. Thank you so much! ❤️
