Just so you know the game seems to hint that the Princess Quest ending is the true ending of the base game not the Burntrap ending. For one Freddy is located in Fazerblast and has suffered the exact same damage that he takes in both the Vanni endings but he's also missing his head which only happens in the Princess Quest ending. Then there's the fact that all the ending to the base game including the Burntrap ending can be found in the form of comic panels stated by Cassie to look like Gregorys drawing hidden around the real world, except for the Princess Quest ending which has no comic panels in Ruin. Additionally, when travelling from Bonnie Bowl to Fazerblast the Princess Quest theme can be heard as background music, and when you get there the Princess Quest machine has the Princesses Sword stabbed into it in the VR world and in the real world Glitchtraps shadow is burned into the wall behind where the machine used to stand. Then there's the fact that in the Burntrap ending you can see the room he was in get destroyed including his charging station, but, once you go down there in Ruin the room is very much still intact and the Charging Station doesn't look like it was even open. Most people also seem to think that the Gregorys friend that had the underground schematics was Vanessa, since she had been down there before and used to have access to everything in the building. Now does this mean that stuff from the Burntrap ending didn't happen? Not entirely we know the Blob still exists as it can be briefly seen at the beginning of the game and the Mimic even implied that it was what caused the Earthquake that destroyed the building as quote "Something tunneled out, broke everything", but yeah even though they are keeping some elements of that ending in play, they seem to have chosen the Princess Quest ending as the Cannon one.
I always thought it was a mix of two endings, like they did burn trap frist then on the way out they got anbush in Fazerblast where princess quest ending happend. They get out before the fire grew enough to reach the main building.
Yeah, but the Afton ending (which I assume is the most likely to be canon?) Ends with burning the old place underneath down, and I figured that they had a bit of property damage from the fire before the earthquake/sinkhole took them out.

@@OpalescentHoneybee ikr? plus we need to calm them down so they understand everything plus not just that they need to deal with vanessa it's mostly what's controlling her that needs to be stopped then the mask can be used safely plus the fact that if you listen closely you can tell that the mimic took all of what Gregory said in the main game and sentence mixed it into it's own sentences
