- “You can kill a revolutionary but you can’t kill the revolution.” Was it a prophecy, these words spoken by the gunned-down Black Panther leader, Fred Hampton? Or was it something more nefarious - more systemic? On the Season 3 opener of Black History Year, we explore the U.S. government's role in the assassination of the fearless Chairman Fred Hampton and sit down with his son, Chairman Fred Hampton, Jr., to discuss his father’s legacy and what it truly means to challenge the system and fight for revolution. BHY is produced by PushBlack, the nation's largest non-profit Black media company - hit us up at BlackHistoryYe... and share this with your people!
PushBlack exists because we saw we had to take this into our own hands. You make PushBlack happen with your contributions at BlackHistoryYe.... Most people do 5 or 10 bucks a month, but everything makes a difference. Thanks for supporting the work.

Judas & The Black Messiah was so good & a must see!! I couldn't help but cry because of how people are treated because of the COLOR OF THEIR SKIN! How they've try so hard to destroy Black families (including mine) in these here the Divided States of America, til this day! & all the lies we've been told & how they used some of our own people to help "set up" the assassinations/murder of some of our Black Panther leaders, MLK, Jr., Malcolm X, etc. & these weren't old Black men. These men were in their early 20s to late 30s for the most part. My dad, passed away at the age of 92, in Nov 2018. He was 1 of the oldest living Tuskegee Airman, fought for equal rights, supported The Black Panthers, Marched on Washington with MLK, Jr., meet with Malcolm X, friends with Louis Farrakhan, worked as a PI for EEOC in Baltimore City & Newark, NJ for over 30 yrs, got his doctorate in Pastoral counseling & became an African Methodist Episcopalian pastor for 20 yrs. I was always so worried he would get killed/ assassinated for all his fighting for equal rights & trying to set up different educational & youth programs in the inner cities in the States in which we lived. He made sure we ķnew what the truth was about our history that we were not told in school not so they want us to know. How important it is for Black ppl, in particular, to get involved in their local & federal government & to vote & make a positive difference for our ppl. These are definitely desperate times because they're still trying to keep all of us dumbed down with their lies &/or kill us! Especially those who are continously fighting for our basic human rights! They still see us as "slaves" who should be satisfied & grateful with a $7.50 minimum wage in 2021. That's slave wages! Yet they reap the benefits without getting their own haha dirty! Hmmmmph how many Black Panthers would have made it inside that Capitol Bldg on Jan 6? They wouldn't have made it on that street! We have got to come together, continue educating & empowering our children & grandchildren to PUSHBLACK! Thank you for sharing this & for this podcast. God bless! "Power to the people!"✊🏽 🖤🙏🏽❤
I didn't even know all of this information they wouldn't teach us this when I was in school back in the day,but I'll definitely look into that one of these days.
God bless 🙌🕊️
