What a great discussion. Conceptually having a DA sounds great. Although, I agree with Bill on implementation of a DA. It sounds great but I'm concerned, like Bill, about the scope of individual members in smaller organizations. It definitely sounds like a risky maneuver to implement when it comes to work-life balance. If balanced incorrectly output of the high value individuals on the DA could suffer. In smaller organization, that drop in output could have some salient repercussions. However, implemented correctly you could end up with a happy cohesive team and a beautiful decision log. I appreciate your tips on how to "start" a DA.
