Nikon overall is a better package. For the price and quality and range of lenses, the Nikon package is just more appealing. Also the logistics and workflow make it much easier to use the Nikon System. We have two Z9 cameras.
I got the new Nikon Z8 when it first came out and it is the best camera I have ever owned. I think it will serve me well for many years. I think that Nikon came out with a game changing shutter less camera in the Z9 and Z8 and now Sony has come out with a game changing global shutter on the A9III. Most people choose a camera systems and brand based on price and typically stay with said brand after purchasing lenses, etc. Due to cost. What a wonderful time to live in for camera technology and I wonder what will be coming out in the next few years. Nice comparison of these two cameras.
The Sony A9III will fill such a small sector of photographers, sports. It is completely behind the Z8 for video and definitely for wildlife shooting due to the small 24mp sensor. All wildlife shooters crop, pros and hobby shooter...Landscape, forget it...Don't see the realy hype about the global shutter. You need to push the Z8 very hard to see maybe a banding...And then spending 2000.- $ extra for the Sony. No, thank you very much.
With the V2.0 firmware just out the Z8, Best One Yet!, And price too. Very few people need what Sony is pushing, even most of sports shooter don't need it for $2000.00 more. AS a sport shooter I don't need it. I have to say the Z8 is best over all bang for the buck. Publishers have no issues with my pict. With all of the camera out now days like Cannon & Nikon and Sony's old cams and others rolling shutter is just not as a big issues, as some would like you to believe.
The 1% of photographer will need 120fps and global shutter. Nikon lens are the best. And the sealing of Sony is the worst ever. Sony have money and marketing. Nikon and canon are best
@@felm.974 Not only Sony, if you have the bucks to waste for your hobbies...why worry?! Why do most people who can't afford are always the ones to say sh*t?!

no 1 has a better lens selection than Sony e-mount
@@jesseroussellmusic e mount has a huge range of lenses. But I can mount these lenses on a Nikon camera also.

Thanks for sharing your opinion!
I don't shoot canon, but can't wait to see what they will come up with on their pro camera.
Well not for another 6 months, but definitely interested in the Pre Capture, Global Shutter and full frame 4k 120 footage on "C&I" !

It will be time to see more experiences of people who already have the a9ii to see if we make the leap
Going for nikon z8
Overall, the most complete package is still the Z8
like the potential of sony a9 III good comparison with Z8. Informative video.
So this is a “best value” comparison, not a Best Camera comparison. Got it.
