David is in southern California, a pianist and vocalist. He contacted Amira during 2023, and they interacted online till this project came together. This hymn uses the tune which Amira is famous for singing in O Sole Mio, so his suggestion of their duet was carried out. He, being Hispanic, translated the second verse into Spanish for the sake of the Hispanic market in the US, and he taught her the lyrics and their meaning. They tested using a few phrases of Phantom of the Opera while singing 'in isolation' as a duet, using online platforms, as is readily done today, to see how well they blended as a duet. I do believe this recording was done simultaneously in separate studios, in this way; hence they were not 'side by side'. It all came together also during her USA tour end of last year when Amira met with fans on the east and west coasts and she and David met in person, at last.
Amira is such a blessing not only for her stunning vocals but also as beautiful human being. Her love for God expresses through her singing and touches the deepest part of our hearts bringing such joy comfort and peace. Heaven sent for sure. Amira is born to sing at this point ... rate her around 84% ... the last 14% is harder than the first 84% ...at present rate of study of opera ... I don't think she will get there, that is not to say she is not good... she performs good, and a few very well. she still has a few things lo learn before calling her above good, and more to call her great... there are 1000s upon 1000s who are good and never make it out of this pool of good singers. I think Amira has it within her, but I don't think ...she wants it. ...a little more and I think she... will be happy with it and it take more, much more to clear just 6% more, much less all 14%... you'll notice I left 99% and 100%... M.C. was 96%, and MC was 97% ...I don't think she will try tho her voice says ...she could... at age 20 she is still young enough to make up the ground but that would mean ...Her changing her golds... and that ...I don't think... so..., what... a ...loss.
