Hey, if you're seeing this a second time it's because there was a glitch in the video editor that removed all the boss fight clips at the end and I had to reupload it. I didn't care if it destroyed the algorithm and made it got no views, I decided to just redo it and reupload it anyway. BTW share ID: 5YDQUFZZ9KJQ
To be fair, you can put a Zimmerman on that right shoulder and not lose more than 2 points in speed and QB boost, for that trade off you gain an amazing weapon to use while the Duckett is reloading and for those stagger window. And also why no boost kick in the OS tuning ?
Ha, my main go to build is all most exactly the same, the difference I'm running dual zimmerman and the shock batton, if you can get shock to proc it'll do a heap of damage, not hard to do with a stager, the sweet 16's are good too.
If you took the nachtreiher arms you'd benefit from max firearm efficiency. Which I'm sure would outweigh the small speed boost from being so far under EN load.
You can use the VP-46D arms for balanced firearm and melee efficiency. Also firearm efficiency isn't really a damage stat as far as I can tell where as melee efficiency is a straight damage modifier.
This. The difference between the Nachtreiher arms and those other arms is simply MASSIVE. The Nachtreiher arms have insane tracking, which directly improves how many shots you hit. With how close you need to be with the pistols and how much dashing you do with a build like this, you really REALLY love having that insane tracking stat.
nachtreiher arms are great but not for this build because they have bad recoil control, they are the best in terms of tracking for anything slower firing
I’ve been running dual handguns since I saw they were in option. Literally my favorite weapons. Such good stagger, such good swagger, and the only downside is lack of ammo efficiency for longer missions
@@Mithguar The major downside with the laser pistols is their much higher EN consumption. They're also quite a bit more heavy. That ends up either massively increasing your weight due to needing a heavier generator plus the weapons, or you have no EN recovery with a small generator. Or you pick a light weight generator with low recovery and a long recharge delay. With heavier laser pistols with huge EN drain, you're going to compromise somewhere. Either a generator with slower EN recovery, a heavier generator that restricts your other weapons and slows your dash speed, or you simply kill your EN recharge rate, or pick other body parts that sacrifice something else. It's all a tradeoff. The EN usage of laser weapons is a problem, because how much spare EN capacity you have directly affects your "EN Supply Efficiency" stat, which is how much EN you recover per second. Lower capacity directly effects your EN recovery rate, which effects how often you can dash. Try testing out a build with ~8k EN recovery, and watch your EN gauge fill up practically instantly. Then try a build with a high EN capacity, but low EN recovery, and watch it take seconds to recover. That's a critical component of any lightweight build. If you plan on using dodges as your primary defense, you need to be substantially below your EN limit. You simply need a high EN recovery rate to dash often. The Nachtreiher corehas a really bad EN capacity modifier, which means you're unable to power really high EN weapons because every generator only has 84% of it's EN capacity. You can pick a different core, but that sacrifices the "Booster Efficiency Adj." stat, which means your boosts take more energy, which has basically the same effect as picking a generator with really low capacity. The net effect is the same. You just can't dash as much. The Nachtreiher core is one of the best parts for a dash based build, but it seriously restricts your weapon choices due to having one of the lowest EN Supply Efficiency stats. Plus, laser weapons also depend on the "Energy Firearm Spec" stat on generators, which dramatically change how much damage energy weapons do. Like, 30% more damage with the right generator. So picking laser weapons locks you into a few specific generators if you want high damage output, which further complicates energy management on a lightweight dash build. I love lightweight builds, but all Nachtreiher with no energy weapons if you want raw dashing power. Any energy weapons will sacrifice something across the build due to how important the generator selection is to a dash based build, and how limiting EN is on the Nachtreiher core.
and there are 3 different handguns too… as far as i know. maybe more but i like pairing a handgun or shotgun with with a machine gun, that way i get consistent stagger build up even when i’m not right on top of someone.
Thanks for the solid blueprint but might I recommend a possibly better version: same weapons HD-011 MELANDER head same chest VP-460 arms same legs if you want to keep bipedal ALULA/21E booster So with these changes that I made - I have better firearm target tracking (96 instead of 72) and especially in this build, you want your shots to be hitting - more AP (8760 instead of 7550) cause I'm an imperfect scrub - better attitude stability (1486 instead of 1183) - higher boost speed (358 instead of 351) - higher QB speed (388 instead of 349) And my only penalties is 0.35 QB Reload Time instead of 0.30 which is negligible, 3237 EN Supply Efficiency instead of 3633 and higher QB EN Consuption at 510 instead of 458. A small price to pay for better gunplay, defence and bit more speed.
@@LordDarkRaider if you want the best close range assist I would say to go with the ocellus fcs which is in underground exploration part 3 but the generator is already the best one for this build so don't change it.
I'm new to this game so i'm running a makeshift version of this with coquillet guns, default blade, nachtreiher 46e arms, 42e legs and vp-20s generator. my version has 104 target tracking, 8900 ap, 1507 attitude stability, 388 boost speed, 416 qb speed and 3650 en supply efficiency at the rather hefty price of 1.09 en recharge delay. qb reload time is also 0.35. i assume the san-tai generator would still give enough en supply while having lower recharge delay so it might be worth checking out.
this is my build. FRAME: LAMMERGEIER/44F (SAME FOR CORE) AA-J-123/RC JAILBREAK FOR ARMS. KASUAR/42Z INNER: ALULA/21E OCELLUS AG-J-098 JOSO PULSE ARMOR EXPANSION. if you didn't already pick up the theme I just used all the lightest parts, which means I've heavily sacrificed every other stat that isn't speed. I have dual SAMPU for impact damage and the VP-67LD for melee damage. no back missiles and these are also the lightest guns in game as far as i know. I roughly get around 1200 - 1300 boost speed EVERY QB but it only takes 3 QB'S to deplete my bar completely
IMO, 'Dual Striker' should be Laser Dagger or Laser Slicer + that Laser Shotgun that you can charge into an energy spike (forgot the name). That full charge is effectively a 'nail spike'. Use left hand melee to break/stagger while holding down the shotgun charge the entire time, then the moment you stagger the enemy, let em have it point blank in the face with the blast.
The Wuerger laser shotgun. It has one of if not THE shortest charge times in the game at around 1 second or less depending on your generator's EN Firearm Spec. I hear a lot of people who use it talk about managing to get the full charge while the melee animation for the dagger is still going so you don't have to worry about "pre-planning" that spike. Downside is that the actual "shotgun" part of it is a little on the unreliable side, with a very wide spread.
So to start, I've been testing various things in the AC test chamber with a practice AC with the AI off, I can confirm that the Nachtreiher/42E is actually a lot better for this build, better distance is covered on jumps and the dash boosts, there is, on average, about a 13m gain on ground covered on dash boosts, and whooping 36m distance increase on jumps without wasting energy on the base jumps. The build follows your exact specifications on everything except the legs, and arms, I decided on the Aa-J-123 Basho arms because it has a better melee specialization, the generator and the booster is actually the biggest stars here because of the EN capacity and Recharge is literally insane, aswell as the QB reload time on the boosters, you can spam QB thrusts like crazy it's unreal.
I use this leg with VP-46D for the firearm specialization as well and that helps with landing hits when assault boosting towards quick enemies which helps stagger as AB increase stagger damage
Yessir. Noticed this heavily while using light builds against bosses, that extra jump power and agility is far more useful than the few speed points and weight you sacrifice
The downside of those light reverse joint legs is terrible stagger defense though. Which I guess is fine since you're kinda banking on never being touched but with those legs yeah if you even get sneezed on ur stunned and then probably 100-0'd
@@SirKickz you are 100% correct, as if I am staggered while using this, I have to accept the high possibility of being wiped by a few direct hits. I am ok with the risk/gain personally, but I understand why someone wouldn't run this. I just like the legs because of how they function
@@SirKickz indeed, but that's the whole point of the build, with the other legs you only sustain one or two more hits, which barely makes a difference because once you get hit once you're probably gonna get hit with a combo that will stunlock you regardless
Yeah, I've fallen in love with the weapon too. It's notable for not just It's light weight, but it has the fastest CD of all melee weapons. The triple combo also has absolutely great damage.
If QB performance is your definition of fast, then youre ignoring maybe the most important stat by using Firmeza legs... jump distance. Compare QB on Firmeza vs QB on Nachtreiher for example
But it also effect forward momentum you float for longer so ever part has its reason this game is just awesome because i like to be fast but dont like the amount of float in a jump reverse jointed gives me! 😂 but still i have builds kf all kinds cause this game is fucking awesome!! salud to an amazing Armored core Gentleman we did it!!!
Also for newer and older players who may not know. You can FEINT a melee/shoulder shot via dodging mid animation. It is great for throwing off your opponent if you are wanting to get closer with said melee or should shot lol.
as some general notes; - Jailbreak parts are just worse Basho parts; if you think jailbreak is good, use basho instead, your ap cap and resistances will thank you later. - Gills are very reliable boosters for double gunning, HOWEVER their melee boosting speed sucks; if you're looking to lunge in with the pulse blade or laser spinner, you want a different thruster equipped. - fairly certain Nacht legs are lower weight while also having the highest jump distance of biped legs; this is relevant for grounded qbs as jump distance is added to qb thrust. - QB reload time being low is useful, but this isn't 4th gen; your energy takes a while to start recovering, for the most part, and as a result being able to quickboost faster just means you can dump full en to empty en a lot faster if you aren't thinking about it; keeping it around 1-0.6s is fast enough for most circumstances, though certain bosses (namely arquebus balteus and the ibis series during the reach convergence mission) do require you to have a quicker qb time due to having to throw off their aim rapidly. when it comes to pvp, probably best to only do a left-right pattern when you hear the loud bleeping of the missile alert tone, and only when you know what is being fired at you; do not qb back and forth into an earshot, it fucking hurts a lot to do that.
I completed my first playthrough of AC6 relatively easily using a build somewhat similar to this. Second playthrough swapped out the handguns for the needle gun and a back mounted shield.
Hey dude great video this build actually helped me tweak my own build that is very similar I was trying to use a lighter generator but this is definitely a better option. I use the laser pistols (VP-66LH) instead. really good range and spam so its great for kiting defo give it a try!
I slapped the new shoulder Gatling in the empty slot to add some more consistent stagger buildup between Duckett shots and it really helps! Doesn't even slow it down as much as you'd think, however is still faster without it.
Nachtreiher is german for Night Heron. It's pronounced "Na(hawking a loogie sound)t Rrryuhr." It's important to pronounce it aggressively. Like zee Germans.
bless you for this build, im a reverse joint enjoyer so i took what i learned about the combination here and apply it to my prefered floaty evasive playstyle. if anyone here like me, comfortable with reverse joints, here's what i changed : KASUAR Legs VP46D Arms KASUAR Head VP 20C Generator since it has better Energy Firearm spec, it would also help with energy based guns if ya goin for one
Great build! The only confusing decision is the arms and just tossing the junk ones on for their weight. They might work fine but arms affect your aim and melee damage which are both relevant to this build.
TBH, this build could be sooo much more effective with only the most minor compromises made. I have been trying to make the dual pistols work for a while (because you know, akimbo), and I independently also landed on the laser dagger being good to have in the pocket. But I would say most parts in the build other than that have better alternatives for combat effectiveness with only marginal reduction in speed. The FCS might as well be whatever closest range FCS you have unlocked, the one in the video, mid-range lockon doesn't matter because the pistols have an incredibly short effective range so can't actually pen at mid range. I'll note these pistols kick like mules, so you need not just ranged and melee specialisation but recoil control to hit and pen with all your shots. I actually go with the Mind Alpha arms for this reason even though they're a bit heavier.
That was my thought exactly once I realised he's using jailbreak arms and not basho. Why would anyone do that unless they're deliberately screwing around? Those shitty arms are next to useless, it's like using the JOSO generator. They're just *bad.*
This build (the one in the video) kinda just assumes low weight is all you need and doesn't worry about having good melee damage or melee thrust or QB thrust. Firstly as a side note the gills are so so bad for melee and have almost no QB trust and a basically non existent melee thrust. back on track, using the Jailbreak arms instead of the basically straight upgrades, which is the Basho is kinda dumb. Also unless you REALLY need explosive defence and can't run anything else because of energy and weight. (There are way better options if only 1 is an issue.) Otherwise never use the Tian-Qiang head piece. It is so bad for stats and even the next up in weight which is the Nachtreicher head it's only a reduction of 1 or 2 in boost speed and 3 was the most I could get it to go down by for Quick Boost Speed. The Shade Eye is what I use for this style of build and giving up 3 boost speed for 470 more AP, 190 Stability and a lot more of defensive stats. The way speed works in this is below 50k you get massive amounts more but 40k is the limit so being just under 50k is pointless cause 55-60k can get you much better stats for only like 4-5 less speed but 45k will give you like an extra 6-8 boost speed over 50k. So picking either below 46 maybe 47k weight or go for a 60k build for melee so you can tank more stuff while being locked into dashes. Legs and the chest piece at least for melee focused builds are what tend to define it as you can't really go for any other arms but the Basho as it gives a 25-30% melee damage increase. Also for the most part they only have 2 Chest and legs options. So for legs the Wrecker or Firmeza, Basho also can be used as a middle ground but I barely find a use for it. Chest the Basho again (seems kinda like it was made as the melee set.) and the Nachtreigher. These aren't a rule but more of a places to start. Same with engines the San-Tai is great for a heavier melee builds but for full speed it's 10k is a bit much. Also if you want full melee not guns (I wouldn't as I tried it for my NG+ and it was pain.) then a high post recovery gen is nice as you can spam punches even while red lined so a VP or maybe a Coral gen can be nice. Last note on the weapons. The Laser Dagger is good for high uptime and high damage but not great at staggering. so I found it nice for single melee weapon builds with noting to swap off into like another melee weapon or gun. But it's still good to use out side of that. The base Pulse Blade has an insane 230 for DHA and the damage and swing speed plus 2 hits if you don't charge it, is nice if the AC has an insanely short recover time. So just another thing to think about. Depending on how hard you are leaning into your guns doing the staggering but not doing good damage to a staggered AC with your melee being what you use after the stagger. The hand guns tend to want you to use something else once you stagger as they have only 125 DHA when most other kinetic weapons have 175. They also build stagger really well with the Burst Handguns being super good for accumulative stagger but have very low ranged like only 5 more than the plasma thrower and it's melee. That all said it's PVE and doesn't matter that much how good the build is as long as you can beat stuff. If you wanna play a fun with a bad playstyle like I did with full melee or just use what looks nice then go ahead. I just wanted to point out some things as 351 Boost speed and 349 QB speed for 7.5k AP and 1.1k Stability is pretty rough and gonna make it really hard to not explode against high volumes of attacks.
Honestly you want to put MAX melee spec. To do a 128% damage increase. If you want to use a different generator and get full energy back in less then 2 seconds use yuhako or something like that. Description at the end reads you need finesse.
For some ideas for optimization, I would go with the following: 1.) Changes in the head for better scanning and/or defense. For a very modest loss of EN efficiency (~3%), you can switch out for HC-3000 WRECKER and protect yourself with over 800 more AP 2.) For a build like this I would recommend FIRMENZA over NACHTREIHER. While NACHT will produce one more quick boost before training the generator, it will recover over 40% slower. It is so fast at recharging that it actually outpaces NACHT despite starting its recharging 20% slower. 3.) For a build that is even-handed with firearm and melee, VP46-D is the most obvious choice. It does better melee damage than JAILBREAK and can also be used well with firearms. 4.) Finally, Ocellus is a definitively superior FCS for this Core, since we are going to be focusing on in-fighting I think with these modifications it will be much more accurate, will be hopping around with very minimal breaks, and when it does take a hit will have a bit more survivability. It's still quite fantastic though =)
I got a build for you its 2 EL-PE-00 VIENTO for the both arms, 2 of them EL-PW-01 TRUENO for the weapons on the back. head, core, arms its EL ALBA but for the legs go with the EL-TL-FORTALEZA for the FCS IB-CO3F WLT 0001 and for the GEN go with the IB-CO3G NGI 000.
The dual striker build was the perfect template for making my end game pvp build, ended up just using the ducketts with dual coral missiles while having 340 boost speed and ended up with a monstrous revamp of White Glint, seriously fixated with finding someone that can defeat ot
If you are willing to sacrifice damage to go fast, swap the Ducket for a VP-66EG, swap the VP-67LD for a VP-67EB, Remove the shoulder weapons, swap Gills for Alula, and San-Tai for Aorta. It gets a speed of 400
Google seems to know that I play AC6 and recommended me this video. When I started playing, Balteus seemed like "ohh shit, how the F will I beat him." I was searching online for different builds,... Then in NG+, I went deep into stats, made my own "Quick Laser Boy" build and went through NG+, like I'm invincible. I don't remember if I had trouble with any of the bosses. Balteus was comically easy. Because I didn't study the attack patterns, with some later bosses, I took quite a lot of damage, but never died. It's insanely gratifying when you build your own AC, know the purpose of that build, general patterns (which apply to every enemy/boss), and on the missions without bosses, I got A or B rank without even trying. I'm so happy I found this game, because most AAA games are boring.
Some improvements still can be made on this one. You could swap the jailbreak arms to Nachtriher and legs to Nachtriher as well. The reason is: better accuracy and bigger jump distance. Also, gills can be replaced with Alula booster.
I run a very similar build but I traded a bit of speed to add a forward firing multi target missile launcher that I find helps a lot in some of the missions. I find the Ducketts dont have a lot of ammo for some of the missions when you have a bunch of small enemies. Very fun build
@@sanguinetales i haven't really played with the orbitals yet. Which one do you prefer? I might have to give them a go with some various build to see how they do.
ducketts are mostly for fun and style anyways, as is this entire build. if you want something more cheesy but less cool then drop the missile launchers and just replace the ducketts with needle guns. one heavy damage weapon on shoulder for punishing stagger, like pilebunker or laser slicer. but then again if you go that route might as well take off the "cheese meta" limiters and go full on zimmermans/needles/songbirds kinda shit
Nachreiher is the lightest core as the weight bar is full. Basho arms are better for the extra 23% melee damage over Jailbreaks. P06SPD and Alula are good alternatives, particularly for speed and melee. Abbot is more EN efficient, though does sacrifice mid range tracking against lighter targets. San-Tai is more than you need at the expense of speed, the Hokushi would be faster and more reasonable. Stun Baton rivals the Laser Dagger thanks to its Shock status damage, which also greatly contributes to stability damage.
The smaller version of the pistols are way better, they're lighter and can be rapid fired way more quickly. It takes some adjustment to get the hang if alternating both bumpers really fast and managing your reloads but when you do they stagger enemies way faster then the longer, slower firing pistols. You should try that out, I'm willing to bet it makes this build twice as good.
I went through the game with a similar build, except swap the dagger for the Ashmead and adjust the body for as much spread as possible. Fully charged Ashmead hit on Balteus is the most satisfying thing ever.
Hey since I don't think you know about it there's an fcs chip that you get from one of the later training missions (yes the training missions give you stuff). And this fcs chip has the highest close-range assist. Meant to post this on your needler build but I found that video before I even knew about this chip lol. The chip is the FC-006 ABBOT, the downsides are about 30% lower medium-range assist than the TALBOT and the long-range assist is like half if I remember right. It has 83 close-range assist which is kind of crazy compared to the TALBOT fcs's 67 close-range assist. Thought I'd let you know and also keep up the amazing content on Armored Core 6! You're insane and I've actually watched a few of your guides and build videos too trying to get better myself.
Yeah man, never took the Abbott off as soon as I got it. I went through all trainings before any missions (for the content, of course - love getting primed and hyped with little [mostly] unnecessary tutorials.) I'm on NG+ and beat the 3rd Alpha arena AC in 12 seconds! Dagger/PB swap, Songbirds and a Zimmy. All parts for speed, energy efficiency, melee thrust etc. etc. Have fun, brother.
Hey man thanks for the insight to the fast build I have already been playing around with these parts for a day or two and couldn't settle with Gen and boosters so thanks for the help . I will say I find that I like using the VP-46D arms this boosts melee and firearm damage and accuracy with minor stats change , also I kinda fell in love with VP-66LH laser pistols and they almost never run out of ammo in missions . Thank you for your video keep up the great work Raven ;)
Firearm efficiency does not effect their damage, but rather how likely they are to hit. Either way your dps is going up bur the damage numbers stay the same.
Kick would be a good choice to use in your rotation for stagger punish between laser daggers. I noticed you switching your dagger back for the pistol at times while the enemy is staggered, but anytime you can weave in a kick would be much more worth it, even with a featherlight build.
dudeee this build fucks up bosses HARD, and is hella fun too, i made some modifications to it tho vp-44d head (aesthetics) el-pc-00 alba core (faster en recharge) firmeza legs (untouched) hal 826 arms (for higher recoil control and slightly higher firearm spec) alula booster abbot fcs ming tang generator and a bml-g2 missile launcher for a ranged option
I have a variation on this build that is even stronger: You use the Ephemera core and the VP-20C generator to get an absolutely massive EN capacity, which means you regenerate to full energy basically instantly. Then run Halderman shotguns and a Majestic bazooka on the other shoulder. You should be able to proc stagger basically instantly with dual shotguns into bazooka, follow with a punish from dagger, and then dual shotguns again.
I ended up with a similar personal playstyle, laser dagger and dual Ducketts, only I went with Kasuar legs, I'm addicted to them hops, especially with the Schneider quick boost thruster for maximum side hop distance and, mopre importantly, 2nd highest malee lunge distance, makes closing in with the dagger that much easier. Also, Vesper arms sacrifice only a little melee damage (2nd highest melee spec in the game) while also having very high firearms spec (2nd or 3rd highest)
Add in a point blank boost kick in between dagger combos. Bigger targets can extend stagger for a brief moment and enemies that recover quickly can be yeeted into obstacles to allow a full second combo to land even if they recover in time. Plus free damage anyway.
Since day 1 I've ran fastest build but with double kinetic pistols rather than the sword. I'll often run dual shotties on the shoulder bay and switch em out at reload. Also you have to run some arms with firearm proficiency, CQB targeting chip and never use lock on, without any of those you are wasting your time with this build
Super solid build, but i definitely think it could be improved upon. Especially with the arms choice. My go to is dual ludlows, moonlight blade on my left shoulder and javelin bazooka on my right shoulder abd my boost speed still tends to be around 365-370 on average
doesn’t the alula have 2k more qb thrust and only a .05 reload difference? and the bst-g2 is only .06 but allows significantly higher boost speed (which is the base movement speed and probably what people think when you say fast)
I'd suggest replacing the Jailbreak arms with the Nachtreiher arms for that sweet sweet Firearm Specialization. Firearm Spec doesn't directly boost your damage, but it does improve your tracking. Edit: If you want a more consistently fast build, you can use the BST-G2, but your Quick Boosts will be slower and will take longer to recharge.
Nice to see others going for the "what happens if I use all the lightest parts to build a Mech" philosophy, and I know my version of it netted me 90% of the S-Ranks I have.
@amszulu VP-46D, if you're trying to balance between both, is the better option. Firearm spec: 133 Melee spec: 117. Those are endgame arms though. Basho in NG+ is still the best option for melee focused build. The shottie is mostly for one-shotting fodder but helps with tearing down shields.
here for the second time and I still watched the whole thing! You inspired me to switch to play lightweight builds, currently doing my second story playthrough on it and I'm having a blast. Im running dual zimmerman with dagger, it slaps so hard. all whilst jumping around like crazy! Helll yeahhh!
awesome man, I used this build to make another similar build for my playstyle- it took a minute to get used to it but if you play cover and break ACS you can put down a lot of DAMAGE.
Vp 44d head Firmeza chest Nach arms Firmeza legs Alula booster Fc-008 talbot fcs Df-gn-08 san tai genny Zimmerman shotgun Pulse blade, laser dagger, 2nd zimmer Missles to taste Will annihilate anything at super speed.
Great video will give this build a try, I love fast moving and nimble builds. So the way Balteus projects his sweeping fire (blade?) Attack is previous to that he will give you a sweeping machine gun. 180 degrees I usually see the sweeping machine gun from left to right. Once it reaches the right limit he will come down with the fiery attack. It really depends where you are in his range the most effective way that I have been able to avoid it is to keep striding with the machine gun movement as soon as I notice it.
Thanks a lot. I've taken the general idea of your build. I'm not as fast (around 330), i can qb around 7 or 8 times. But with 2 zimmer and 2 assault rifles, it's really really powerfull, nimble and fun as hell. I've killed the final boss chapter 4 first try with this set... after a few attempt with other builds of course 😅 I love the way, it can shoot from range with the as, swap weapon during a qb ab approach and burst with the zimmer, swap to the assault rifles for direct hit. Rince and repeat. A boss killer.
Schneider legs (the non reverse ones) are faster when QB because the jump distance affects your dash speed. So unless you're strafing everywhere with those legs being faster. If you want to dash around then you swap to those legs instead :D
I'd say that Bashio hands are better overall than a Jailbreak, because of the bigger multiplier on the melee damage, being not that much heavier and better stability overall.
Thanks for the solid blueprint but might I recommend another version: weapons HI-16: GU-Q1 VP-67LD HG-004 DUCKETT IA-C01W2: MOONLIGHT (or other sword) body VE-44B (or other head) IA-C01C: EPHEMERA NACHTREIHER/46E NACHTREIHER/42E ALULA/21R IB-C03F:WLT 001 DF-GN-08 SAN-TAI
The sweet sixteens have the same relevant stats since you're already gonna be up close, and the Abbot FCS buffs close range even more while bumping the boost speed one more point, doesn't seem like a bad alternative
If you decide to go for PVP, consider swapping to Coquillette, Ocellus FCS, it will make all the difference. The Coqs actually having higher DPS and every half second counts in PVP. It’s been treating me well in B rank on the way to A. The build looks familiar haha.
5:40 I'd argue there's some good skillcap usage for you to slightly downgrade your QB cooldown to upgrade your Melee Attack Thrust and use melee cancels for speed boosts
I had a super faat build for the sea spuder aswell, you can dodge everything so easily with it and get that kill really quick. Love the build, dude! I won't copy it, but ill definitely take inspiration. Only used the multiple primarys for gatling gun cool downs for a quock sawp so far. May have to mix it up more.
Problem with using light builds for the Sea Spider is one stagger and you're dead. Sure you're fast enough to dodge most everything, but all it takes is one slip up and getting hit with either the melee or the red laser cannon to send you right back to the start of the fight.
looks great! gonna try this for sure. one thing i wanna tell you is to experiment with the boost kick, it adds a quite substantial amount of impact damage into any rotation you can do + it gets extra style points.
Only thing I’d change is putting the right hand weapon on your back instead so you can punch without having to drop a weapon. Stun locking potential with no weight increase
This is pretty interesting. I'm running a very similar build, but optimized for base boost speed rather than QB using the BST-G2 P06SPD. I hit 399 base boost speed using the normal BASHO arms and a much lighter generator since the build is so fast that I don't care as much about being able to QB a ton in a row
You should really do the charge attack with the dagger, it does more damage than the combo during stagger. The combo is mostly there for trash mobs and building stagger.
@@WuWaMintpicker Then it must work differently depending on what you fight. I'm gonna do some more testing and report back. (Would be very weird if the 3hit combo does more damage because otherwise what other purpose can the charged version have...)
@@IsraTheBlack Charged has a bigger hitbox and impact. Trying to stun with the dagger is kinda shit, so that charged hit could be good for hitting that threshold, because eating rockets while pulling a 3-hit dagger combo sucks bad.
I will definitively try this one. It's close to what i play, but more efficient. And thanks to the comments section under this video, i've learned lots of things about evasive build.
I genuinely don't get why, but I've consistently done better with faster builds than with brute force heavy builds. The heaviest builds I've had success with are still bipedal, sitting around 11-12k AP and I think I got the base speed of one of them up to 310ish - dual pulse guns, dual laser cannons, put it together for Balteus. Part of it I think is base speed, I get hit with so much random crap if I'm slower than 300, even 320 feels weird compared to 340-350 depending on weapons. I'm currently stuck on the 2nd phase of that coral thing - same mission you get moonlight from - but my best attempt was using laser lance and pile bunker, I just need to learn all the mechanics and might give this core frame a try; as in, getting the quick boost delay and energy use lower. With the meme heavy build using dual gatling and dual stun needle, I can barely get past the 1st phase using all 3 heals. Changing to heavy bipedal legs I can get a bit further, I had 1 repair left for the 2nd phase. With the melee build I can consistently get to the 2nd phase I just struggle with the 2nd phase.
Hey, if you're seeing this a second time it's because there was a glitch in the video editor that removed all the boss fight clips at the end and I had to reupload it. I didn't care if it destroyed the algorithm and made it got no views, I decided to just redo it and reupload it anyway.

@@KenNeticGaming are you playing on PC? 'cause the Share ID is platform-specific.
@@Matt-sk6hi Nachtreiher has better target tracking tho, around 104 which help lots in speed build.
nachtreiher arms are great but not for this build because they have bad recoil control, they are the best in terms of tracking for anything slower firing
@lchn12345678 Great point but the Jailbreak is horrible for that as well.
I’ve been running dual handguns since I saw they were in option. Literally my favorite weapons. Such good stagger, such good swagger, and the only downside is lack of ammo efficiency for longer missions
Check out laser pistols. They are crazy good actually.
The energy pistols are my favorite weapon in the game so far. I have rarely lost a 1v1 with them
and there are 3 different handguns too… as far as i know. maybe more but i like pairing a handgun or shotgun with with a machine gun, that way i get consistent stagger build up even when i’m not right on top of someone.
@@Mithguar Laser pistols have much weaker impact.
Thanks for the solid blueprint but might I recommend a possibly better version:
same weapons
HD-011 MELANDER head
same chest
VP-460 arms
same legs if you want to keep bipedal
ALULA/21E booster
So with these changes that I made
- I have better firearm target tracking (96 instead of 72) and especially in this build, you want your shots to be hitting
- more AP (8760 instead of 7550) cause I'm an imperfect scrub
- better attitude stability (1486 instead of 1183)
- higher boost speed (358 instead of 351)
- higher QB speed (388 instead of 349)
And my only penalties is 0.35 QB Reload Time instead of 0.30 which is negligible, 3237 EN Supply Efficiency instead of 3633 and higher QB EN Consuption at 510 instead of 458. A small price to pay for better gunplay, defence and bit more speed.
What about the innards? Same generator and chips?
@@LordDarkRaider if you want the best close range assist I would say to go with the ocellus fcs which is in underground exploration part 3 but the generator is already the best one for this build so don't change it.
I'm new to this game so i'm running a makeshift version of this with coquillet guns, default blade, nachtreiher 46e arms, 42e legs and vp-20s generator. my version has 104 target tracking, 8900 ap, 1507 attitude stability, 388 boost speed, 416 qb speed and 3650 en supply efficiency at the rather hefty price of 1.09 en recharge delay. qb reload time is also 0.35. i assume the san-tai generator would still give enough en supply while having lower recharge delay so it might be worth checking out.

if you didn't already pick up the theme I just used all the lightest parts, which means I've heavily sacrificed every other stat that isn't speed.
I do something similar, but with the plasma rifle.
Full charge.
"You might dodge my attack, but you can't dodge 50feet in every direction at once.
If ur holding down charge the whole time ur better off using the javlin rocket launcher for the bigger damage and better direct damage too
The Wuerger laser shotgun.
@@JeffHikarithe dual laser and dual zimmer is killer. cnt wait to try this dual pistol
Seeing the laser dagger get some love makes me happy. I've incorporated it in almost every light and medium build I put together since I got it.
Yeah, I've fallen in love with the weapon too. It's notable for not just It's light weight, but it has the fastest CD of all melee weapons. The triple combo also has absolutely great damage.
Man, bought this game a couple of hours ago, first AC game ever and wow, im really loving this.
“We don’t even need arms, we just need em cuz we have to have em”
-Socrates😂💪🏾
If QB performance is your definition of fast, then youre ignoring maybe the most important stat by using Firmeza legs... jump distance. Compare QB on Firmeza vs QB on Nachtreiher for example
My thoughts exactly
Reversed joints are the best legs! Prove me wrong lol
@@brextonridgdell8564 chicken legs that’s the first issue
But it also effect forward momentum you float for longer so ever part has its reason this game is just awesome because i like to be fast but dont like the amount of float in a jump reverse jointed gives me! 😂 but still i have builds kf all kinds cause this game is fucking awesome!! salud to an amazing Armored core Gentleman we did it!!!
@@brextonridgdell8564 I'm faster with bi pedal legs, and I don't need to jump constantly. Done. I proved you wrong.
Also for newer and older players who may not know. You can FEINT a melee/shoulder shot via dodging mid animation. It is great for throwing off your opponent if you are wanting to get closer with said melee or should shot lol.
@@QueenRaven516 it's also a good way to not let your mellee weapon overheat if you overcommited or misjudged your attack
Lol these old videos from before anyone had a clue how to build ACs are hilarious
Thanks for the build. I could not be bothered looking at all the stats and figuring out how to have a lower dodge timer.
as some general notes;
- Jailbreak parts are just worse Basho parts; if you think jailbreak is good, use basho instead, your ap cap and resistances will thank you later.
@restfulori212 beat the game 3 times with only laser pistols lol
Dual trigger laser pistols for the winnnn
I slapped the new shoulder Gatling in the empty slot to add some more consistent stagger buildup between Duckett shots and it really helps! Doesn't even slow it down as much as you'd think, however is still faster without it.
Nachtreiher is german for Night Heron. It's pronounced "Na(hawking a loogie sound)t Rrryuhr." It's important to pronounce it aggressively. Like zee Germans.
bless you for this build, im a reverse joint enjoyer so i took what i learned about the combination here and apply it to my prefered floaty evasive playstyle. if anyone here like me, comfortable with reverse joints, here's what i changed :
KASUAR Legs
VP46D Arms
KASUAR Head
VP 20C Generator since it has better Energy Firearm spec, it would also help with energy based guns if ya goin for one
Great build! The only confusing decision is the arms and just tossing the junk ones on for their weight. They might work fine but arms affect your aim and melee damage which are both relevant to this build.
Especially because the next two heavier options have the best firearm and melee spec respectively lol
I actually go with the Mind Alpha arms for this reason even though they're a bit heavier.
true but those are like the third in line for melee dmg
That was my thought exactly once I realised he's using jailbreak arms and not basho. Why would anyone do that unless they're deliberately screwing around? Those shitty arms are next to useless, it's like using the JOSO generator. They're just *bad.*
17:53 my random build with 2 needle shoulder cannon and 2 Zimmerman cheese through that boss
You should remake this video because they added new, lighter parts.
I just wanted to point out some things as 351 Boost speed and 349 QB speed for 7.5k AP and 1.1k Stability is pretty rough and gonna make it really hard to not explode against high volumes of attacks.
solution: BEO or BVO
>We don't even need arms
**Firearm Specialization exists**
Honestly you want to put MAX melee spec. To do a 128% damage increase.
If you want to use a different generator and get full energy back in less then 2 seconds use yuhako or something like that. Description at the end reads you need finesse.
For some ideas for optimization, I would go with the following:
1.) Changes in the head for better scanning and/or defense. For a very modest loss of EN efficiency (~3%), you can switch out for HC-3000 WRECKER and protect yourself with over 800 more AP
2.) For a build like this I would recommend FIRMENZA over NACHTREIHER.
4.) Finally, Ocellus is a definitively superior FCS for this Core, since we are going to be focusing on in-fighting
I think with these modifications it will be much more accurate, will be hopping around with very minimal breaks, and when it does take a hit will have a bit more survivability.
Ok that is super fun!
I had a similar build but I made it look like wasp and just made my pvp battles just a war of attrition with it
Used two Vvc- 70vpm on my shoulders or two Soups depending if I wanted the duck legs or the fast reverse joint legs
I usually pack ORBT for the small fry. Just keep it active as often as possible and they don't bother you much.
@@sanguinetales i haven't really played with the orbitals yet. Which one do you prefer? I might have to give them a go with some various build to see how they do.
@MrBiomaniac Laser is the one I rock because fashion but Huxley might be good, never tried it tbh
ducketts are mostly for fun and style anyways, as is this entire build. if you want something more cheesy but less cool then drop the missile launchers and just replace the ducketts with needle guns. one heavy damage weapon on shoulder for punishing stagger, like pilebunker or laser slicer. but then again if you go that route might as well take off the "cheese meta" limiters and go full on zimmermans/needles/songbirds kinda shit
I got to 400 speed by using the P06SPD Booster on a double Laser Turret Build.
The idea is to run circles around the enemy while dropping turrets.
All this advanced weaponry and this man going in with two glocks and a shiv...
I went through the game with a similar build, except swap the dagger for the Ashmead and adjust the body for as much spread as possible. Fully charged Ashmead hit on Balteus is the most satisfying thing ever.
Switch to VP-46D arms, and VP-20S gen. Reduced weight gets you to 366 boost speed. Increased AP, attitude stability, firearms spec, and melee spec.
Basho arms for the melee damage, also.. kick in between charges of the dagger.
I went through all trainings before any missions (for the content, of course - love getting primed and hyped with little [mostly] unnecessary tutorials.)
I'm on NG+ and beat the 3rd Alpha arena AC in 12 seconds!
@@azathoth420 DPS is the real damage output anyway.
Kick would be a good choice to use in your rotation for stagger punish between laser daggers. I noticed you switching your dagger back for the pistol at times while the enemy is staggered, but anytime you can weave in a kick would be much more worth it, even with a featherlight build.
the alula booster would be a .05 difference in qb reload and a somewhat worse efficiency yet you go way faster and farther
dudeee this build fucks up bosses HARD, and is hella fun too, i made some modifications to it tho
vp-44d head (aesthetics)
el-pc-00 alba core (faster en recharge)
firmeza legs (untouched)
hal 826 arms (for higher recoil control and slightly higher firearm spec)

ming tang generator
and a bml-g2 missile launcher for a ranged option
I added a Zimmerman on the other shoulder as well. Great way to save ammo on your handguns to inflict a big chunk of impact or pulp fodder enemies.
Fastest build packs around 400 speed and 420-430 boost speed. optional reverse joints to make dashes even Faster but your on the right track mate.
Hmm Id use Basho arms instead. you'll move just a tiny little bit slower.but you'll hit like a truck with your blade....just a thought.
I love this, thank you.
Drink every time he says “high skill cap” 💀
if you put the other duckett on your shoulder as well you get access to punch
Since day 1 I've ran fastest build but with double kinetic pistols rather than the sword. I'll often run dual shotties on the shoulder bay and switch em out at reload. Also you have to run some arms with firearm proficiency, CQB targeting chip and never use lock on, without any of those you are wasting your time with this build
Burter: Did he dematerialize ?
Jeice: No, it's puuuure speed !!!
If you use the arm piece that has the highest melee spec stat you’d do 33% more with Melee damage. I get 8k+ with the laser slicer
Whole lot of "I don't remember why I picked this" and not a lot of showing your work. I'd rather know why so I can make my own informed tweaks.
Ah, you found the AC4A boost build. Thank you
B nice if they made it easier to share builds, like a new hub or something to share at?
Nice to see others going for the "what happens if I use all the lightest parts to build a Mech" philosophy, and I know my version of it netted me 90% of the S-Ranks I have.
Since this build seems to be focused around the laser dagger, which I love, you should be using Basho arms for melee specialization.
Use Firmeza, you’ll get both firearm spec and melee at 122 and 110. So you’ll be landing all your shots as well as getting that melee bonus
I’m not far along enough to find the second Baltius and I just screamed quietly when I saw the lasers
here for the second time and I still watched the whole thing!
You inspired me to switch to play lightweight builds, currently doing my second story playthrough on it and I'm having a blast.
Im running dual zimmerman with dagger, it slaps so hard. all whilst jumping around like crazy! Helll yeahhh!
If you want to hit the same or more boost speed like this build while being tanky, try using the wheelchair legs, their really good.
Thank you, i have been suffering for a while
The main issue with this is you can't be in the air
my kinda gameplay style, thanks for the inspiration!
Here comes the "omg BROKEN OP BUILD!!!" videos
awesome man, I used this build to make another similar build for my playstyle- it took a minute to get used to it but if you play cover and break ACS you can put down a lot of DAMAGE.
Vp 44d head
Firmeza chest
Nach arms
Firmeza legs
Alula booster
Fc-008 talbot fcs
Df-gn-08 san tai genny
Zimmerman shotgun
Pulse blade, laser dagger, 2nd zimmer
Missles to taste
Will annihilate anything at super speed.
This build captures the true AC feeling. Speed, skill, and specialization.
I use the higher damage arms which are also crazy light weight, just max out that opening damage.
This def deserve a like, I accidently destroyed Cel240 and Ayre first try using only one repair kit in this build.
I whomped most of new game+ with a similar build. The laser dagger changed everything. Excited to try these optimizations you recommend!
nice cowboy build! gonna definitively try that
Great video will give this build a try, I love fast moving and nimble builds.
I'm having the time of my life in pvp.
Once I started learning the intricacies of Assault Boosting, lightweight mechs start to feel more enjoyable
Thanks a lot. I've taken the general idea of your build. I'm not as fast (around 330), i can qb around 7 or 8 times. But with 2 zimmer and 2 assault rifles, it's really really powerfull, nimble and fun as hell.
I've killed the final boss chapter 4 first try with this set... after a few attempt with other builds of course 😅
I love the way, it can shoot from range with the as, swap weapon during a qb ab approach and burst with the zimmer, swap to the assault rifles for direct hit.
Thanks for the solid blueprint but might I recommend another version:
weapons
HI-16: GU-Q1
VP-67LD
HG-004 DUCKETT
IA-C01W2: MOONLIGHT (or other sword)
body
VE-44B (or other head)
IA-C01C: EPHEMERA
NACHTREIHER/46E
NACHTREIHER/42E
ALULA/21R
IB-C03F:WLT 001
DF-GN-08 SAN-TAI
The sweet sixteens have the same relevant stats since you're already gonna be up close, and the Abbot FCS buffs close range even more while bumping the boost speed one more point, doesn't seem like a bad alternative
If you decide to go for PVP, consider swapping to Coquillette, Ocellus FCS, it will make all the difference. The Coqs actually having higher DPS and every half second counts in PVP. It’s been treating me well in B rank on the way to A.
The build looks familiar haha.
Appreciate the inclusion of the Snail scream 👍
5:40 I'd argue there's some good skillcap usage for you to slightly downgrade your QB cooldown to upgrade your Melee Attack Thrust and use melee cancels for speed boosts
Seriously, nobody needs a QB refresh that fast. 0.4~ish is as fast as you're ever gonna need. Hell, 0.5~ish works fine for light builds.
The devs are stupid as hell for not making codes cross platform.
Awesome vid, love ultralight builds
looks great! gonna try this for sure. one thing i wanna tell you is to experiment with the boost kick, it adds a quite substantial amount of impact damage into any rotation you can do + it gets extra style points.
False
just tested during stagger
Charged - 3582 dmg
Normal 3 hit combo - 1596 + 3192 + 1596 = 6384 dmg
@@WuWaMintpicker Then it must work differently depending on what you fight. I'm gonna do some more testing and report back. (Would be very weird if the 3hit combo does more damage because otherwise what other purpose can the charged version have...)
@@IsraTheBlack prob cuz it has more range and shorter overall animation
@@WuWaMintpicker Wrong-o. The 2nd hit counts as cumulative since it hits quickly after the first. It's 3x static damage, so, in your case, 1596 x3.
And thanks to the comments section under this video, i've learned lots of things about evasive build.
for the booster the ALULA/21E has a better QB speed and boost speed and only .35 QB recovery seems better, am I missing something?
Dudeeee!!!!!!....this is insane. Love it.
So If you play alittle further and go into ng+ etc you can get a mean build that goes 360 with all weapon slots taken up
Small combo trick - stagger -
laser dagger - boost kick - and again laser dagger
