And using this army he brought the true horrors of the most uncaring war upon his enemies.

But i picked vortex--like a doofus--and now I'm doing so many counter-manuevers that the only contraption i have is 1 doomflayer. I dont have 3 turns to build any lol That one wheel has seen more shit than Vietnam
honestly in an even matched army build shootout between the empire, the dwarves, the skaven, and the elves skaven could take on all other 3 and still have half an army left. its bullshit and i love it there really isnt any beating skaven range
I feel like skaven are one of the strongest factions in Warhammer. Not because of actual strength or anything..because they are basically using technology that shouldnt exist yet lmao
They are, the only reason they don't dominate until the vermintide is because they cannot unite and it took the horned rat himself to take control for them to achieve anything of significance.
The first thing I do is snipe their cavalry with jezzails for this reason. No one escape the kill-killzone. Otherwise there is always that wargale spell thing (that thing that makes unit stop moving).

If it is gun infantry and artillery only that's skaven advantage, otherwise I think the coast has a slight edge. Specifically jezzails are the best range vs range unit in the game and poison wind mortars might be the best infantry shredder in the game.

And since the damage output of skaven is so high, if it can fire for about 30 seconds before the first unit gets engaged in melee, the rats will win. And in a player vs ai scenario the skaven stack will win a surprising amount, with little cheese required. One way is to zoom around on a warlock master (either of the mounts will draw their fire while dodging), make them loose ammo and then shoot them up. Another is to use vermintides instead of the lord.
@@Olav_Hansen well it depends on who's the player, whos AI etc, but every time the player fights the AI with a VC necrofex spam its an easy win regardless of difficulty. Player v player is a bit more complicated but I'd still put money on the VC although not a lot of money lol
