Taking the best from both/all worlds is the best overall, by definition … 🙂 I bought SO much gear back in the 90s and 00s, and I only wish I’d bought more (and had been into synths, as well, back then 🤦🏻♂️) … 🙃
2 probs with out-the-box. 1 You need more outs and ins on your interface. This is getting more affordable tho 2 you need to print tracks which use them as you go unless you buy ALOT;-) Having said that im building a real stereo spring reverb;-)
I don’t think My interface has the capability to loop in hardware. It’s not a cheap interface either, it has built-in hardware multi-effects and mic modeling. I wouldn’t be opposed to picking up the lexicon module he likes (I actually looked up some for sale). I agree that just the circuits would likely color the sound beyond the effect. I’m not really sure how I would use it. I have some lexicon effects in box already.
