Wow, 3 red cores! Incredible odds. I like the series 3 approach of including mmore traditional numismatics. What bothers me was the near impossibility of buying one on vb's website at what I consider to be a fair retail price (others will disagree), and then seeing many dealers show up on Whatnot with DOZENS of boxes each, selling them between 400 to 500 apiece to people with more money than sense.
Same. Would have like to buy at least one for the fun of it. But only buying options was resellers on watnot :/

@@silverking8742 I’m referring to the “loot box” mechanic of it. I know some will argue it’s not gambling because you don’t lose your money completely. Who ever it does still itch and form the addiction of where some people only buy in hopes of profit. But they control the rates and pull. Just if you’re easily addicted, you have to be extra careful with your money and expectations.
It’s funny, I pulled a red core coin in series 1 and I got so much crap for it. People thought I got the “influencer” box.

Three Red Cores? Most people don't even get one. You hit the jackpot. The 1892-O Morgan retails for about $360. The 1871 Seated Dollar retails for about $500. A similar 1869 Three Cent Nickel pattern sold for around $2,000.
Ben... Your three hits are awesome but, color me sceptical... think someone might have noted your popularity, looked up your vitals and made sure you got some good ones? They just upped their sales on the next edition by 30k boxes? Still, not raining on your parade but will await others pulling three reds on their "random" buys! Cheers!

Good scores for sure. I find these vault boxes to be like sports cards sometimes you win but most of the time you loose . But I would say you made it pretty well on these.
Nice pattern. I would be crazy happy to have gotten that. That 1871 $1 is a winner too. It's not worth as much as the Morgan but I'd rather have the seated dollar. I have seen you do Vaultbox before so I know it's not salted coins for TH-camrs to get.

I definitely like the coins in Series 3 the best. Wasn't a fan of all the ASE's previously. Not even sure if I saw a Series 2 unboxing but these are what I wished for initially.

Then why was he one of the only TH-camrs that won? They all provide huge exposure yet they didn’t all get multiple reds or even single reds for several of them
@@Silvercrypto-xk4zythere have been others like Ben who got extremely good v boxes. They all have popular TH-cam channels. The fact that he got 4 red slab coins in his submission is pretty suspect to me. Why don't you just do your own self test go out and buy about fifty of these things and see what happens 😁

update: after watching and posting my comment i watched a video by blue ridge silver hound. he went in to describe that vault box offered oppurtunities to content creators to do box openings on thier channels to help promote sales. while thier are certainly videos showing openings with the black core, perhaps red core reveals have more to do with the more sucessful channels with a larger subscriber community. good luck to all of you who are hoping to hit it big. much love.

Do you think your increasing notoriety in the coin world affects what companies like NGC and PCGS send you? Like - "oh, that order or submission is from Ben the Coin Geek from Old Pueblo Coin in Tucson. Whatever we send him is going to get thousands of views on TH-cam so let's make sure we take care of him." I heard Slezak refer to himself as a Coin Geek on HSN and thought that was a nod to your ubiquity in the coin community.

Time to play the lottery and watch out for being struck by lightening. I have watched several unboxings and the only red core on any of them was a gold nugget worth just what the person paid for it. Getting a 3 cent piece pattern, a seated dollar, and a rare morgan all in a row is like hitting a progressive jackpot on a slot machine.

Yup... this guy got lucky with all the red Cores he got. All the other unboxing videos I've seen on this series 3 weren't worth it. This Vault Box is nothing more than an expensive lottery ticket in my opinion.
@ericgilliland6140 I have seen mostly morgan/peace dollars.. a gold nugget red core once, that was nice.. but if I am going to dedicate 200 on a 🪙 anything.. I'm going to use that 200 towards a 🪙 I actually want, not something i end up with. It's too much like gambling.
The 1871 Seated dollar, while it is a "common" date, is not really common. They were shipped overseas in large numbers and some U.S. residents never saw them. And they were commonly cleaned so it's hard to find problem-free examples. For the price, they are very, very hard to find.
