Enlightenment is like jumping out of an airplane without a parachute. So the bad news is that you don't have parachute, but the good news is that you discover there is no ground. And then you're just endlessly falling and you never reach the ground. So in a sense, what i'm asking you to do is to jump. And you don't want to jump. You're saying, I'm scared. I'm too scared to jump. And I'm saying, jump. God is telling you, jump, jump into infinite love and it's going to be great. But you're like, what if I kill myself and what if something else happens? I don't know. You just jump into infinite love. Take the leap of faith and you'll discover infinite love. And you're too scared to do it. But then eventually when you do it, then you're just going to discover that there's no ground. You're endlessly falling forever and it's great. But yeah, taking that leap is really difficult. It requires you to face your death. So of course, everybody is too afraid to do it. People are just to scared.
And the ego can still seek stability after the jump, but the ‘stability’ only occurs once you surrender to having no stability. So keep falling, and falling, and falling. To no end.
Don't be so quick to claim enlightenment. All the sages discourage talking about it too soon. Despite the most profound experiences, the ego can creep back in. It can be very subtle, almost imperceptible.
It’s been a year since my awakening, I feel happy to document and talk about it. Not as a sage or an expert. But as an empty vessel, mirroring life back to whoever passes through.
@@LeoAwakening I really like Eckhart Tolle's definition of ego which is "identification with mind activity". I'll be using this definition. This is the cause of our troubles since it forms a separate sense of self and disconnects us from the whole. If we are put into a position of spiritual authority, and start teaching others with this ego still intact, it can be very dangerous. It's not uncommon for the ego to arise after profound enlightenment experiences and turn the insights and knowledge into just another concept, in which case they start loosing their transformative power. Anyways, I'm not here to discourage you. These teachings are what the world needs. But I do want to encourage you to keep doing self-inquiry and continue to root out any traces of identity with mind activity that may or may not arise🙏
enlightenment does not mean having no identification with the body. true enlightnemnet is striking a balance between the real, physical world, and the metaphysical nature beyond it. what would be the purpose of incarnating into a physical body if you are just supposed to try to escape it? this is the trpa of non-duality. sure, "nothing" exists when you get down to the quantum levels, but if you reach out in front of you, you can still touch the object before you. You are incarnated on this physical earth for a purpose, not to live in the same way that you exist when you are out of this body.
@@ramasinnn once you wake up, you know you are not the body, there’s no going back. Sure that doesn’t mean you’re not here in this physical world, using a physical body, doing physical things. It’s a matter of discernment, am I using awakening as a bypass strategy or am I authentically aware of what is. For me, my awareness shifts from identification, to non identification. It’s a dance between dualities.

@@K4113B4113 The ego serves its purpose in the material world. True enlightenment is non resistance to what is. If ego arises, ego is expressed.
most of the time it is the ego in disguise when it comes to these feelings of "being enlightened".
@@ramasinnn there is no need to make ego wrong. Even the most enlightened sages had an ‘ego’. As we all do.

Before enlightenment, chop wood, carry water. After enlightenment, make a TH-cam video and tell the whole world about it.

Come on, it's clear you're not enlightened.
