The problem with all these products from China are that they arent built to last. We are buying tons of stuff that "works" for a while and then typically breaks, degrades, or malfunctions in some way. That patio furniture set wont last two summers and it could be made of hazardous materials
With the cost of labor difference in US vs China, it's cheaper to buy disposable stuff than "made-to-last" stuff that you'd get repaired once or twice and it'd last 100 years
This the type of stuff people need to see bruh. Most people would play with something like this especially if they’re planning to move within a year or two. Cost less to throw this out than move it
I got a patio set from them. The unit is built well. I’m 300 lbs and it supports me. The only issue are the cryptic directions. Prepare to rotate shapes in your mind. Better than IKEA though . Also use a powered driver. It will make things go very fast.
Yeah, the ads can be funky. Often the price shown is really cheap and applies to some related screws or something, then you you click on the actual product the real price comes up. And yes, you do need to look at the specs. TBH, most of the junk I have bought served it's purpose, and for the price point was OK. if you look carefully often you can see exactly the same item available in local stores, just rebranded. The thing is a lot of the stuff you buy locally is junk too.
@@Cheepchipsable tbh most of the stuff I've recieved have been 100% to specification, there was a few items, however that was more of a packing issue then a specification issue and I had received my email and refund with a discount on the same item. But it is clips like this of not just temu but ebay, where someone has bought a wardrobe and recieved a doll house wardrobe, yet they don't bother to read. anyways no hate just love.
I used to work at a high priced furniture retailer building these pieces to be delivered to you. They are poorly built but easily put together when you have the right tools on hand. You did not. You got the furniture "flat packed", in box, where I worked would have charged you 1200 to 2500 for that. Bought, built, delivered, and installed.
Furniture always says 'local warehouse' on my Temu store so perhaps it's not from China? I dunno if the quality's any good though or if it's not from China - just something I've noticed.
A lot of product have weight limits. If you look under the seat of office chairs you buy you will see there is a weight limit, and it often lower than much of the western population.
I bought sketchy patio set from Amazon last year. $1000 but the comparable style would have set me back $2500. You can tell it's not great but for outside furniture it works. The firetable is a little sus
Looks like the same quality as most basic sets that he compared it to. I put together 5 or more various sets for people last summer. It's all the same, pretty cheaply made until you spend a lot on them.
I do display furniture setup for Lowe's and home Depot, and other stores of the sort and I'll tell you that the $1200 set at Lowe's is the same quality as this probably made by the same company lol
I like how it's too small IF you're 6'5" and 280. So basically nobody. Pretty sure everything is small if you're that size. Also, who actually orders from temu? Hope you used a prepaid credit card or something.
@@user-ux8hg8bk3e like I said, basically no one. Like 1/2% of the population. It would definitely be fine for 99% of people. And yeah it's Chinese crap so of course it's not finely crafted furniture from Temu.

Ain’t no way bro risked spending $500 on a temu product 😂
He does it so you don't have to
It's a business expense, so he writes it off, and his video probably makes good coin too. He can afford to risk it. You and I can't
I always wondered who buys the products on temu that are over $30
Ya, but they can steal his credit card information
@@user-qk3sp1kl2n not worth it to them tbh
Not worth 500. Maybe 175
I wouldn't say that you got scammed but for $500 you sure as hell could have got something a lot better
He did get scammed . That's a 200 dollar Chinese set
Lmao $500 for that. I’ve seen those sets at a local swap meet for $100
its g a r b a g e. literally this stuff is manufacturered for the sole purpose of straining landfills and driving up WM costs.
And what do you think they cost new?

That patio furniture set wont last two summers and it could be made of hazardous materials
Hazardous materials is the most scary part I mean we all know this, don't wait till it happens to you
Yup. They may look good for few months then deteriorate quickly. My metal license plate holder already started to peel off after few months.
With the cost of labor difference in US vs China, it's cheaper to buy disposable stuff than "made-to-last" stuff that you'd get repaired once or twice and it'd last 100 years
The children that made that set did so good
This should not make me laugh like ya did😂😂😂😂😂
A damn flea market or swap meet. Would have been 20 times better for 500$ hell even big lots 😂😂😂😂😂
The same set at Walmart is twice the price rn on sale and it's the same quality
I am about 6'2 350 pounds. Think I will pass on that 🛋
8 Elixier build
This is worth about 200
$60 max
At Aldi.
Target has a way better set for half the price
Not in Canada where he filmed this
No they don’t
You could get real furniture for $500 WTH
No way. Outdoor furniture is really expensive
Boy gotta learn how to use an Allen key 😂
I would have bought the didgeridoo.
Yeah my thought for sure
Just saw how they make tons of things in china. Id do a chemical test on all of it. Chances are its laced or built with hazardous materials
This the type of stuff people need to see bruh. Most people would play with something like this especially if they’re planning to move within a year or two. Cost less to throw this out than move it
Brother you need an electric impact gun or wrench for these occasions you can always buy long driving bits for the hard to reach areas. Just a though
I think I’d buy it for my kids to hang out on
That is the same as what you get quality wise at Walmart near me 😂
Yeah, but at least you get the shop like a billionaire!
The best part of Stevie making content like this? The tax write-off.
short answer: yes.
That price is a scam
Ottomans are for your feet dude
I swear idiots like this guy get famous its insane
Ottoman? Like the empire? Weird name for a foot stool

Buy quality when it comes to furniture you expect to keep for at least 5 years.
“If you’re like 6’5”, 280, you don’t want this”.
Looks pretty dang good for the price. I ❤Temu!!!!
"Turning bolts with an allen key is hard"
Can't help but feel a used patio set would be better quality at a similar price
Rip that credit card. 5 bucks says there are fraudulent charges on it in 4-5 months and you have to cancel it.
seriously, temu should make it compulsory to take an iq test before letting people order, specially when they don't know how to read measurements...js

not this dude using the long end of an alan wrench when he could use the short end to make the job easier xD
Should have constructed it from galvanized square steel, eco friendly wood veneer, and expansion screws from your aunt.

Lmao at the lady sitting on a couch made for ants
I bout this exact same one with dark grey cushions at Walmart 2023 for $950 so I think u came out alright
Nice furniture but you’re telling me you passed up an antique didgeridoo? Some people just don’t have their priorities straight
That's a kids playset couch from fisher price
Wild ass comparison 😂
At the rate your going you’ll be “Stevie gets a job” from “Stevie sells” pretty soon 😂😂😂
TEMU always blowing there pic's up to look normal
$500 deffo got scammed bro

Temu is trash, I wish people would delete the app so it would go away.
🏀🏀 sack going to start glowing green
Should’ve also bought the Temu power drill screwdriver set
Selling a house and need furniture for the patio to sell the house faster. Here you go.
I think youll need a tent cuz that shit is going to sun bake like crazy
Its not temu its from costway. An auth seller on temu
I’m 6,5 240 most furniture is just not big enough to enjoy
If that's 500 bucks im screwed i guess you need 1000 to get anything that isn't garbage so I'll just have to buy garbage for my new apartment i guess
Get a ratchet with an alley key set. Youll love it
Not bad for 500 in my opinion. I’m about 185 my wife is about 140. I think work well on our bedroom patio!!!
Allen key 🔑
Goodness I'm 5 ft 9 inches tall so this furniture would not be comfortable for me.
$500 for that helll nahhh
LOL you paid 500 for that? I got a similar set for 150 LOL
Why not just go to a store and get something from a human...500 seems a lot for that
You cheap out you get smaller furniture 🪑
he paid $500 for that $200 furniture set? 🤦♂️smh
500 bucks for that?😂
First Stevie sells video I seen in awhile, how's that bitcoin mining going?
I have a $6000 set patio furniture is expensive especially rattan

Those poor children lmao
Looks decent enough..
People need to realize that shit ain’t made for us lol its still good tho. Never once was I unsatisfied with my purchases
The PX sells temu and wish products and sells them for 1k
One hot summer later r.i.p
Bro doesnt get temu does what he does but 1000% better and higher profit margins and a corrupt government behind it
I do display furniture setup for Lowe's and home Depot, and other stores of the sort and I'll tell you that the $1200 set at Lowe's is the same quality as this probably made by the same company lol
I can get them for 200 made in Germany aswell
Temu is just the repackaging of wish and they are both scams and junk
Temufication!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Ottomans aren’t meant to be sat on
Remember temu is from china they tiny over there
If I’m correct
Im 5'7 so this will work for me 😅
This is cool 4 short people don't hate 😀😀😀😀😀😁😁 lol
The original woman actually ordered her couch from wish not temu, it got changed to temu after it got popular
Who cares, it's the same garbage
