I read from sources that Sher shan suri lead the foundation of land revenue system and later super structure was built upon it by akbar. Is this true ?
Land revenue was continued from old kingdoms..like ashoka , Chandragupta,moh.bin tughlaq.,khiljietc but .a great reform with new system by sher shah.. and this system was such a strong...and helpful. That later rulers adopted his system and they made little reforms according to their situation and circumstances..
