Globalists Are Prepping FINLAND To Be The Next Proxy-War | Prof. Tuomas Malinen

  • Ukraine was sacrificed on the altar of neocon globalist world-domination fantasies. And the people responsible for this are not done with Europe. The crazy thing is, that the globalist elites of European nations are fine with the prospect of their states becoming the next proxy-war battle ground. They are whole heartedly invested in Trans-Atlantic world domination. No better example of this than what is currently happening in Scandinavia.
    On Monday, July 1, Finland’s parliament approved unanimously a brand new military treaty with the US, granting the US-not NATO-unprecedented military rights in 15 bases, just next to Russia’s North-Western border.
    What is happening here? How did we go from Finnish neutrality to unfettered US base building in less than 2 years? I know we have talked about this before here but it’s a monumental shift in Europe’s security structure that deserves a lot of attention.
    To help make sense of it, I reached out to Tuomas Malinen, wo is an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Helsinki and the CEO and the Chief Economist of GnS Economics, a macroeconomic consultancy firm. He specialises in economic growth, economic crises, central banks, the business cycle, and he also talks about Finnish foreign policy on TwitterX, which is where I found him.

    Thank you, Pascal. This is one of the better videos for me because I was so ignorant of Finland until now. But I did live in Japan in the 70’s, 80’s and into the 90’s, and still go there regularly as my son is there and his wife is Japanese. Believe me, Japan back then was very different and only became a lapdog since the late 90’s. What is sad is everything that is transpiring in Europe and in Asia is so transparent to us outsiders. And the Europeans used to be so independently thoughtful, we constantly wonder whatever happened. It is most bewildering. We were living in Switzerland when the Ukrainian war happened. Suddenly every Swiss citizen became anti Russian, including my husband’s family. It seemed like everyone had lost the ability to think, analyze and challenge statements fed to them by the governments and the establishment media. Frightening.

      We in Hungary have a huge amount of alternative media in Hungarian, with open discussions, a lot of platforms who translate all sorts of news and info from many languages, though mostly from English. Maybe it is because of the experience of 4 decades of brainwashing attempts, we Hungarians do not trust main stream media, and always keep our eyes and ears open. Though we also struggle with our "unundrestandable" language, but it has its advantages, since it keeps us together and works as a "secret code" toward others. It's not really that simple. Soviet Russia was forced to give Finland independence, because it didn't have the capability to hold on to Finland in the winter of 1917-1918. Lenin's goal was to incite the Finnish reds to revolt and rejoin Soviet Russia afterwards. The Finnish reds did revolt, but lost to the Finnish whites and the Germans intervened, wrecking Lenin's plans. So there was no magnanimous Russian gift of Finnish independence, just cold pragmatism on Lenin's part. On the other hand, the white Russians and the white Finns couldn't co-operate attacking St. Petersburg, because the Russian whites didn't want to recognize Finnish independence, and before that the tzarist Russia had tried to russofy the Finns. So please, Russia did not give Finland independence, Finland took independence for itself in the unstable situation at the end of the first world war, and had to fight to keep it's independence from the Soviet Union during the second world war, and indeed even during the cold war.

      Poledancing Queen was selected by her party high ups (months after election after the previous PM's blunder) and nobody in their coalition few even from the opposition would oppose this choice for PM because _that would mean them losing positions, influence, careers etc._ and within govt. coalition they would not dare to cause a crisis so they would lose their executive power for internal disputes.
      So, she wasn't independent and much in charge. She too was appeasing the hivemind and small group of politicians.

    Finland reverting to its fascist past when it helped Germany against Russia. If Finland goes to war against Russia they can expect no mercy

    • @vesakaitera2831
      @vesakaitera2831 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +10

      @johnm7267, Finland was fascist in a similar way as Winston Churchil was Communist. To Churchill Hitler was geographically closer and bigger threat than Stalin, so UK was supporting the Soviet Union against Nazi-Germany. From Finland's perspective this was a vice versa situation, because Stalin had attacked us in November 1939 and Hitler remained neutral. And a bit later the Soviet Union pressured us very strongly and that pushed us to seek support from Germany. A big political, ecomical and military contract was made between Germany and Finland in September 1940. But this contract was purely defensive, Finland was not promising to join the operation Barbarossa.
      Hitler made the decision to carry out this operation in the middle of December 1940. Originally this operation should have begun in May 1941, but the development in Balkan delayed it. The Finnish army got the first information about this fututre attack from the Germans in January 1041. Hitler was asking, whether Finland could moblize the army and so indirectly help the Germans by tying several Russian divisions. Mannerheim promised Hitler to do just that. He thought, that he could do that without any green light from the Finnish politicians. However, Mannerheim didn't at any stage promise to Hitler to start a war against the Soviet Union, because that decision was in the hands of the Finnish parliament. Mannerheim had no mandate to decide this and he knew that very well.
      During the Spring 1941 Germany incrased the amount of soldiers in Lappland. Some Finnish politicians were worried about this, but there was not a large opposition against that movement, because the Finns were afraid, that a big querrel with the Germans might lead Hitler to sell us to Stalin again. The Finnish army was negoatiating with the German army in late May and early June, how to carry out the future military operations. But the Finns had a condition, that all this was valid only in a situation, where the Soviet Union had attacked to Finland. However, this condition was not in the German version of this contract, and the Russian spy-organisation "die Rote Kapelle" got the German version. From that the Red army had a solid reason to conclude, that Finland had politically joined the future German attack. However, that contract was made only militarily an not politically. It said, how the war should be carried out, but not whether Finland would be in a war or not, because this question was in the hands of the Finnish politicians and not the army.
      .
      This development was causing the Red army to bombard several Finnish cities in 25th of June in 1941, and that led to the start of the Continuation War. However, if Russia would not have started this war, it is actually pretty sure, that Finland would have started it in two weeks.
      We Finns have so far had 34 wars against the Russians, so we are not very much afraid of that 35th war. Now we have a very strong support, so we can receive clamly all those Russian threats and bullying. The Russians are not ten feet tall and their army seems to have big problems with Ukrainains alone, so why would they deliberately seek new enemies ? But the recent behaviour of the Russian soliders will give us a realistic picture, what would be expected to happen to us, if the Russian army would have free hands to operate in Finland. It would be the Great Wrath (1714 - 1721) time again.

    A huge mystery...Finland is deliberately signing a suicidal pact!!?? This is Finland where everybody is educated, and speaks English, thus, as opposed to for instance the USA and many developing countries, everybody can closely follow world events. On this occasion, I would once again urge all concerned to study and learn what Article 5 of the NATO (Washinton) Treaty really means. Every attack on a member country does not automatically trigger the assistance mechanism stipulated by Article 5. If an attack takes place as a result of "crazy and stupid" policies or provocations of the ally in question, other allies are justified to stay away from the fire. Finland allowing the US to deploy military capabilities in particular nuclear weapons in the country threatening St. Petersburg, would definitely create a situation exactly like the 1962 Cuban missile crisis. Currently neither the U.S. nor Finland has any intensions to locate any nuclear missiles near the Russian border. Because that would greatly shorten the reaction time for the Russian nuclear defense. That might lead an accidental nuclear war. So that kind of move would not increase security but vice versa. But if Russia will continue bullying and threatning West with the nuclear weapons, also this scenario is possible. We Finns will not grant Russia a veto-right to the decisions according to our defense.
