I followed Mötley Crüe throughout their 3 Australian tours & it was nothing short of AWESOME. I've been a fan of Def Leppard, although not as much as I am a Mötley Crüe fan. It's been bloody sad to see how many people have made negative comments on the Mötley Crüe performance yet Joe in there Australian tour was captured lip sinking more than a few times! Was a bloody fantastic time regardless
Seriously mate, Joe was not captured lip syncing because he doesn’t, he sounds extremely good because he works extremely hard, people like you are seriously annoying spreading lies I like Motley but they use loads of backing tracks, Def Leppard don’t they are all live
I don't know why the person on here who claimed joe elliott is not really singing. This is nothing but sheer rubbish. I saw them twice on th tour last year, was in front, and and he absolutely was singing. His voice has changed over the years, as with all singers. He's 64 and still sounds pretty great. It sounds nothing like the album to lip sync too. It's funny when he admits he flubbed up at some of the shows. As for motley crue, one show he did, he was reading on a monitor! I couldn't even decipher any of the words, the people around us were all laughing. There is a hilarious u tube video called "Vince Neil misunrstood lyrics " the one for "dr Feelgood " is the funniest. By the time they got to seattle on August 31st Vince sounded much improved due to having more practice. It was a good time with both bands. The only thing I don't like about motley, is they rely alot on gimmicks like the nasty habit girls. Other than that, I liked them the second time. All the reviews in every state that I saw, said that def leppard were far superior, and have to agree for sure. Poison and Joan jett were awsome also!
Did the crowd just not know When Love and Hate Collide? Or is that just Japan culture (quiet and respectful during performance/cheer at the end)? Regardless, these guys still sound great! Thanks for sharing
Not sure. But I definitely can tell Joe’s frustration with that song. Some nights the crowd sings it back some nights they won’t. Which is majority of the time they won’t. I wouldn’t be surprised if the song gets dropped whenever they change their setlist again
A lot of the concerts I’ve seen from Japan they sit down mostly and clap at the end. I remember watching a Tyson fight from the Tokyo Dome and the announcer said if it was in America the crowd would be going crazy. However I just watched a Kiss concert from Japan from the 70’s and although they were seated, the fans were in makeup and going nuts!
To anyone who would have criticism of Rick Allen and his drumming, I would have one thing for you...... A middle finger in your face!!! His playing is flawless, and the guts it took for him to come back after his accident took courage that most people would NEVER have. He has been an inspiration to people around the world. If you can top that, then come talk to me.
