- We're at Round 1 claw machine playing for Yoshi's! We use some Round 1 arcade claw machine tips that we learned to win these Yoshi plush! Round 1 run Japanese claw machine but this time the UFO Catchers aren't what we're here for! Winning at round 1 arcade games is difficult but not impossible! You see that we can win so maybe you can win something too! Let's see how many Yoshi's we can win today!

Yep! This is the one at Arlington mall! It is such an amazing place and we are actually planning on going within the next couple of weeks! 😀
I think me and my hubby will be going this Saturday since we both have the day off, we are trying to get better at the ticket games 😰
My husband says when we go to round one, I can't keep every prize... We have no room... So we'll be giving stuff to kids we see if their parents are cool with it.
Oh wow! When we to Round 1, we want to keep EVERY prize, even if we have no room! 😂 actually I know what you mean. We like to give away plushes to fans if they come up to us. Also when we flew to Vegas we practically gave away everything. We left a bunch of plushes in our hotel room with a note asking them to give them away for us. Driving, though? Load up the car! Squeeze them in! It's a haul!
My friend and I are going to Dallas for Harry Potter convention and we definitely want to go check out round one while we're up there

The one in Grapevine is the best - and that's agreed upon by everyone we know that have visited there. But, there is one in Arlington too that's worth a visit, but if you really want a good time, Grapevine is where it's at! Let us know how it goes!

Question, round1 got me good the other day. They have mochizoo plush (husky, green shiba etc) put in such a weird placement they wouldn't move easily against the pins, anyway. I mean these things were harder than mamegoma. Sadly, I got owned on those. I was able to get two of them for a hefty price and it was total crap shoot how I won them. Have you guys played them sucessfully in a couple tries by chance? I'm at a loss on how to hit them in. 🤣
Hey Kayin! Sorry about your Round 1 luck! Don't worry, we've had walks of shame into the parking lot too, with no money and maybe 1 plush to show for it. We just, uh, don't put those in the videos 😂 So, I'm curious how theirs was set up. I can't say we've attempted to play for the mochizou plushes, but I know what you're talking about. Where was this? Do you have a pic of the setup? You can email it over to us and I'll be happy to chat about it! A UFO catcher can be set up dozens of different ways that require different strategies, so perhaps this was one set up differently from ones we usually see! And about it being a crap shoot, I mean.... with UFO catchers, they are honestly balanced very lightly on their setups, so sometimes playing completely out of the realm of expectation wins the prize! (Check out TheArcadeDad - he won a yoshi by accidentally bumping into the button and wasting his play. D'oh! but uh, it was a means to an end? 😂) Thanks for watching!
Dragon Claw Games lmao, I totally feel it. I went back and got owned yet again, but at least I got the whole set. I plan to back off for a few months, lol🙄 I do have a pic. Basically they wanted you to shove it down between the pins into the shoot. But that was not happening for me any way I hit it... And me and my sis were trying every way imaginable. Even trying to use the top part of the catcher to push them out. I mean 50$+ every way. Lmao. Oops. Maybe we just couldn't see it. It just got stuck either against the glass, the pins, or flopped out onto the area you can't get to. There was no skill.. just luck at that point. 😂 It was round1 in mentor, ohio. They recently did a rehaul of the claw machines there. But it seems they put the pins closer together and are squishing them into the pins (to make it harder/more plays to win) I watched them reset a lot of them. Or the claws don't even go where you're supposed to hit. And there is no saltiness on my part, because I have every Amuse/Mochi plush from there that are in the ufo catchers. They are usually reasonable to win, but these mochizu were a trap xD. And if its going to be like that from this point, it isn't worth it at all. I'm wondering if its for the new figures they're putting into them, or someone is telling the workers to reset them weird or maybe I just suck! But I went there maybe a month ago the plush setups were great and winning them was a decent win to lose ratio. I understand they are trying to make profit, so I don't mind paying a little extra for the ambience, and fun I have but geeez. And I'm no newbie. XP
