This is my first attempt to create a chestnut beam, with a full trunk, use only a hatchet. Among other things, the axe I used, with a short handle, is not really suitable for this kind of work. For this reason there are special axes, I don't have any, I arranged. I then planed the surfaces to get a plan in principle. However, I still more insistently, getting a decent plan at least on the one hand. Being the first time, having looked at other foreign youtubers who did this job very well, I felt in some ways going a little to try. From the mistakes I learned a lot and I believe that now I would be able to get a better result.
