hey, for some reason it's disconnects itself from the sound after a while. did it happen to you
It did for a while but turned out my phone jack was worn out
Does this make a simple way to record with your evh with out a mic. I guess ??? Just plug straight into the computer with your daw....is this correct
The way I used it in the video means I needed to mic up the 5150. If I direct recorded from the xtone unit I would only get a DI signal with some ambience.
What you heard was what came out of the amp speakers. It sounded massive in person but the sm57 did a good job capturing most of the tone

Seems this would be perfect for gigging; eliminating the whole pedal board.
So... Guitar > This Xtone thing > Computer > Amp ?? I don’t understand the phone part
@Jon Oz I think it basically acts as a central hub, so essentially everything plugs into it. (Phone is optional if you don't have a laptop near?)
Sorry if I confused anyone. The xtone comes with a dongal that connects to your iPhone so you can use whatever guitar apps are on the market.
Treat the xtone more like a traditional stomp box that can convert digital software from phone or pc into you guitar chain.
