Lloyd in this reminds me of my old squad I used to play fatal bullet with. It was far back, but when it was still popular and, about 6 months after release, I got into the game and found my preferred style of play. A full support build, for maximizing healing and buff effectiveness. Since I used every buff and maxed healing effects, I was able to take the role as reviver, full buffer, and sniper strategist. Always at a range but helping the team constantly. Only role that was somewhat difficult was the medic role, cause of how janky the reviving was. I only got disgust by many seemingly called useless, then I found some players who added me as a friend and made entire builds around my own. They used my own build to maximize their own, turning themselves into unkillable demons. Ever since that game, when I do full support builds, I’ve learned that even if buffs seem weak, it’s how the person your buffing reacts that matters, not the buffs in of themselves. Yes the buffing matters, but if the person who gains the buffs is terrible, it won’t matter how strong the buff is, the buffs will be wasted. TLDR: A buffed shouldn’t be defined by those they buff, but instead should be defined at the effectiveness of those buffs per individual. Some are terrible players who will receive incredible buffs and still be terrible. Others however can already be super powerful and just a little bit of buffing can turn the super powerful person into something far greater!
I've played tons of support and hybrid classes in unconventional ways and did it sucessfully. People will always hate on you for doing things your own way and being sucessful or not stressing and having fun. I much prefer games that are not so locked into big guild progression like Everquest used, so that when I end up in groups like that I can just go, "That's cool. But your opinion, not mine. **player has left the instance** 😁 >>>--------> Though I do admit, while sometimes it just wannabe tyrants flexing their ego's, sometimes it's also bad game design. If you are going to include a buffing or crowd control class, actually give them something to contribute. And dont limit them to being entirely useless if that one trick they do ends up being reduntant or irrelevant in special cases or people wont invite them to group. (Like having a game where you usually need someone to cast c.c. spells, but then you put their big class item in an instance where nothing can be c.c.`ed, so people fill the slot with a pure dps instead!)
Fair Weather friends are quite numerous. People always have an excuse such as their family or a relative needs help or their job is about to have layoff so they cannot spare time to help you.
Not sure if there is more, but if there isn't, this is a good point to stop/put in hiatus: most previous arc finish, futur plot enought to keep interest but vague enough to not feel urgent or cut in the action. If the manga end at this point, it's satisfying enought while keeping the possibility to return to it open.

I believe that even if Lloyd was beaten to death with love and affection he still wouldn't get. With the whole city calling him a hero, by some miracle, he hasn't realized his the hero everyone says he is. Now that some next level self-deprecating. FYI: just a little disclaimer. Yes, we all know that he thinks like this is because of his previous party. Please refrain from explaining the obvious synopsis. Edit: It's later explained his mentor raised him that way. It might take years to recover trauma from bad parenting.

The teacher is super hypocritical and she doesn't realise it She says she was overconfident which got her friend killed, yet she is perfectly fine letting a kid frend for himself in the dangerous forest, Lloyd being naturally good at magic survived. I wouldn't be a surprise if she had killed many more people including her students, yet she is depcited as a hero, she is also the same as the hero whom Lloyd worked for. Both of them abused him day in and out, constantly using mana from a young age definitely has a toll of Lloyd as shown in the story where he cannot comprehend that people are praising him I despise how the writer treats the teacher like she is Master Roshi when she is clearly the opposite. Roshi trains people, this teacher follows the principle of survival of the fittest
it's not unusual for parental figures to overcorrect their own mistakes thinking they are helping but are in fact hurting. like people that were children of divorced parents so they will stay in a horrible marriage thinking married family equals better than divorce. while being miserable and making the situation worse.

The S rank party just barges in and Lina is never seen or heard from again. Though maybe our protagonist would heal her missing hand at the least. But I guess shes just gone for now.

The “cursed item maker” manga had the guy make cursed items that could be on par with legendary items.

All of the "banished from the hero's party" could be solved in 5 mins with one dose os self-awareness for the MC and another of environmental awareness for the hero
But that means you won't have a story if that happens. The MC needs to see he's better without the toxic environment around the Hero, and the "Hero" needs to make things right a lot sooner, or die quickly to show how much an "impostor syndrome" person he was.
I feel his teacher taught him the mechanics 'good enough' but he also had above average ability and potiential, so her worrying about him being egotistical like she was and her guilt over someones death just crippled his own confidence and thats one of the main things a sensei shouldn't do.
