out of all PAC vids I watched, this was the most entertaining! with the nice commentaries and ingame analysis, even the extra tracking of amulet coin count, dude this vid is awesome!
I wish had the brain power to understand all this in a game. I can easily follow the video but when I'm playing I might as well be Patrick Star thinking of milk.
The last few times I've run flying 8 I've struggled in the early -mid game because of all the rolling required. The amulet coin plus the min burst damage tip is such a smart work around that. The early game pidgeotto was so clutch for you econ.
The custom art for the thumbnails are great, I wish I was that creative. Also, the coin counter was a nice touch. I love the coin, and I would love this counter in game.
Instead of buying Pokémon and selling them to lock a certain Pokémon, you can just hover over the Pokémon you don’t want in the shop and press e. This will lock your shop and get rid of Pokémon you don’t want
@@matthilton3658 you're right, and that's generally what I do now. But this video was played in patch 5.6 before a glitch was patched where it would sell a pokemon different from the one you mouse over! I've lost a few games to that bug selling off a core team member so I'm just trying to avoid it by clicking and dragging
Out of curiosity, Given all the strategies I am still finding I lose a decent amount, I'm curious how consistently you get 1st versus top 4 and then top 8? I'm 100% sure its a skill issue on my part but I was just wondering how big of a skill gap there is.
Ultimately, while PAC is high skill, it is also high luck. In pretty much all of my videos (as of now are all 1st place finishers), there's certainly a degree of luck helping me out, this video especially. The best PAC players can recognize this and see which paths they can take to victory given the luck that they get in the game, which can only come with experience. If I play quick play which typically is against newer players, I can almost get top 1 every game. However, in higher elo lobbies, my placements are all over the place. Another thing to consider, is what is generally your playstyle? Certain strategies, like open fort, baby 7, leads to a lot of top 1 finishes, but also a lot of top 5-8. Whereas someone who goes ground every game, might not top 1, but might end up always placing in top 4, thus their elo never decreases. If you're experimenting and trying different team comps every game, you might find yourself losing more than winning, but in the end you will be rewarded as you're expanding your knowledge of what works, what doesn't, which units can carry you, etc. while also improving your fundamentals (economy balance, apm, positioning, item priority, etc.) If your goal is to gain elo, go to quick play and master an easy comp (which is a completely valid way to play). But don't feel bad about losing because you tried something new, because that's ultimately the best way to improve

chatot spitting straight fire
If big weff has million fans, then I'm one of them.
If big weff has one fan, then I'm THAT ONE.
If big weff has no fans, that means I'm dead.
The flying slomo portion was epic
The minimum burst damage tip at the beginning was so nerdy but actually really helpful

@@BaconJake14 that's how I was when I started. It all takes time, but you'll get there!
The Amulet Coin gold counter is a very nice touch👍ggwp
I love your editing, putting the items you buy on screen. Very pleasant to watch (and not having to rewind and pause)
love the chatot head canon
Chatot + dictionary >>> ground + rock, got it. Thanks for the super high quality PAC videos, my favorite ones to watch!

Correction: 12:04 - facing a Dragon 5 team, not a dragon 7 team. Sometimes I forget how to count
I remember this game. I picked Cyclizar by accident and mega tilted. Amazing game HAHAHAHA
@@TheStrugglingShiba oof. A good effort on the pivot tho
