At face value, this home looks outrageous and overdone almost. But when I sit back and realize how much pressure or scrutiny people are under in the public eye…it makes sense why they would invest in a home that meets most of their needs. Especially if they can’t go out and get things done like a typical person would. I like how this house is built like a gathering space too. There’s still room for generosity and good human connection. It’s a beautiful place and thank you for sharing!!

I cant even imagine the property taxes and living expenses associated with heating, cooling, lighting, and filling this home with water would be. The most lavish home I’ve ever seen for sure!

I was thinking the exact same thing even if you could afford this home, why would anyone want to pay so much taxes every year? I could imagine the taxes on a 45 million dollar home.

@Guy in the Chair based on my understanding, classification of a home as a business expense can be a little tricky, given it’s a residence but also being used for events. Even if you get write offs, you’re still having to pay the 80-90% of the expenses that aren’t the tax portion. And, no matter who you are, I think you always need to pay property tax. But someone much smarter than me could correct me on this since I studied finance, not tax law😂. Needless to say, this home is expensive 😂😂😂😂
This home reminds me of the importance of lighting. There is so much specialty lighting that actually goes into these.

To my understanding this just proves how much we need an edge as investors because playing the market like everyone else just isn’t good enough, we just need to hold onto our hopes and wait to see how things turn out because market movements are almost always unpredictable. In my portfolio, I'm noticing more red than green.
People believe their currency has the worth it does because they have no other option. Even in a hyper-inflationary environment, individuals must continue to use their hyperinflationary currency since they likely have minimal access to other currencies or gold/silver coins.
Inflation is gradually going to become part of us and due to that fact any money you keep in cash or in a low-interest account declines in value each year. Investing is the only way to make your money grow and unless you have an exceptionally high income, investing is the only way most people will ever have enough money to retire.

Hey Graham, can you do step-by-step videos that actually go through the process of buying a property in Los Angeles (or anywhere)? A video for different types of properties at different price points. I think would be cool.. like all the costs that go into it, all the paperwork and parties that need to be involved, regulations, etc. This video has very little to do with actually buying the property.. you're just giving a tour bro
