A train guy here, I picked up the 39 about a month back based on a couple of your videos and have been really impressed. Very smooth and easy to clean, work with, and just performs well. My airbrushing is more 'grunt' work so far, painting rails, track, and some larger surfaces and it has been great. Thinking of picking up this one as well. Thanks!

I have a couple of Gaahleri airbrush’s and I gotta say that their customer service is second to NO ONE! Not only in airbrush’s but in any product, in any item I’ve ever purchased. Outstanding customer service!!

They do a great job, they are all I use anymore. Love the new Mobius line, + been putting in many hours on the 39 and 98 too, lot of heavy lifting with primers, base coats, etc.

Thanks, Ive been wrestling with buying either this airbrush or, the new H&S 2024 Ultra. Of course , one also has to consider the cost of extra needles and such, I think H&S might have higher replacement costs...

I’ve had the 98D for a while now and have been really impressed compared to my previous Sparmax. Changing between needles was easy and the quality of priming and detail work with both has been fantastic. 1/100 scale wasn’t a problem for the .35.

They are working hard at ensuring these tools perform for the two main scales in the community. I'm excited for what's coming from them for mecha modeling. :)

Interesting review. I love my 39 and I’ll definitely recommend this to a friend. The 39 has helped me a lot on my most recent project, especially with the two cups.

Recently got back into model building and painting. Only ever used Humbrol as a kid and paintbrushes. Remember headaches.. lol. Now today we have so much and I started airbrushing but had major issues with AK, Mig and Vallejo, only Tamiya ever worked decently until I tried Mission Model, and then I was hooked! I wanna try to get away from lacquer and other odorous materials, so your tips and tricks on weathering with acrylics would be gold worth for a relative noob like me.

Welcome, there's a lot on this channel with the live streams and video content in regards to spraying water-based paints like MMP, Lifecolor etc.. Enjoy, don't be afraid to test and try all of this out and keep practicing for best results + happy to help with any questions you might have. Cheers

Thanks for the review. I'm a Badger fan namely their SOTAR 20/20 as well as the Xtreme Arrow and Arrow models etc..but for the small investment your talking about for a "quality" airbrush this brand looks amazing. I got suckered by the cheap price of the Master brand airbrush 3-4 yrs.ago and yeah most of the time you get what you pay for as the needles aren't hardened steal as well as chrome peal etc. and so on. I still jump around between enamels and lacquers to acrylics and took your advise on keep an airbrush for each type of paint tho I'm still short a few but your recommendation of this one carries weight so I will be joining the Gaahleri owners clubs soon.

The price point definitely makes that functional setup more viable for everyone to get the best from their paints 💯

Nice review Coach . I wasn't convinced at first with my 39 , but stuck with it and it's a performer. Seems to "bed in" as do a lot of the chinese airbrushes over time .Do I need a 98 .....hmmm ...maybe !

“Bedding in” is a great term, I've seen the same with all 3 airbrushes. Once they get warmed up after spraying a few times, they really come into their own.

They got to work on streamlining the naming conventions.
