  • Neuro-navigation-guided brain surgery utilizes advanced imaging techniques to create a precise map of the brain's anatomy. During the procedure, these detailed maps guide surgeons in navigating delicate structures and performing precise surgical interventions, minimizing risks and optimizing outcomes for patients. This technology enhances accuracy and safety in complex brain surgeries. For a comprehensive understanding, watching the complete video is recommended.

Hello I live in Australia and was wondering if anyone can tell me how accurate is the Stealth Neuro Navigation system in guiding the surgeon to the correct position? Is it possible to be guided incorrectly and if so what would be the cause/s of this? Thank you.

No, the system will not guide incorrectly. In fact, before starting a navigation guided procedure, there are multiple manual verification steps the surgeon will perform to ensure maximum accuracy.

@@anantsaiasthana2643 - thank you for your reply, normally I would agree but there was a fault with the s7, i7 update which took at least half a year to correct. This was worldwide, the manufacturer Medtronic had to contact everyone. Registration was also incorrect, if viewing in the faulty mode it told the surgeon the target had not yet been reached & there was a couple of biopsies done of healthy brain tissue. The warning for this equipment was a laminated card!!
