- This is what I learned just after making some 20 to 23 paintings on Heavypaint.
Just a short video on why I personally believe heavypaint doesn't make you a better painter but rather turns you into a better artist.

I have never ever liked heavypaint because of the UI, I think that if the RGB sliders where thicker it could make my experience better with it. Your video def makes me wanna give it a second chance though, it's been several years since I last used it so maybe it has improved.
Yes even I was put off by the UI design at the beginning but over the years Vaughan made a lot of updates and the UI feels better. Also I think you can change the thickness of the sliders in the settings if I am not mistaken.

This really feels like the software i want to start my art journey...but everytime i try to take a step and download Heavy paint...it just doesn't opens in my windows. I tried everything what's going on here

Oh man! I've been there! but its fine you can still try webbypaint for free. Its very similar to Heavypaint but on the browser instead of a standalone app on the Ipad or desktop.

This painting app is unrecognizable anymore. the looks keep changing. I stop using because of that.
Yes in the beginning this app had a really barebones UI but ever since the last year of me following vaughan ling and his development for the app I don't think there will be any changes to the UI portion.
Fr. I miss the old Heavy Paint. Now it's a buggy mess with horrible UI and he abandoned his users (for the subscription version) . Like just let me go back to the 2020-2021 UI 🥹

Turned off immediately when dude is telling me to think about some quote while listening to some ambient noise he puts on. This reeks pretentiousness and ego within 2 mins, god damn.
