Another solid, thorough review. Concise, historical and for a second time you have convinced me to skip what sounds like a redundant purchase. I already have Oud Malaki, sounds similar enough based on yr description. Although I’d still like to find CN Soul, tough to track down here in the States.
Now we're talking. I love this profile. I have the EDP but never sampled the Parfum. I just love the cinnamon/clove combo with the sandalwood. It's SO smooth. I guess it is kinda like Egoiste, just without the rose. It also reminds me of another perfume that I have- Cartier Oud & Santal I also have CN Free d'Homme. I like Rasquinet and it's not too bad. But I really think that CN Homme is the best in their entire line.
EDP is Excellent! Woods & Spices are lovely to smell! I thought Julien's Secret Woods was alright but I think "I" put me off a bit because of the Sweet Layton like Amberwoody smell.. so was not that excited to smell Free d'homme. Yes, Homme is probably the best
@@ScentZatura Funny fact. I was looking to buy Homme in Italy and I accidentally bought 'I'. No bueno. I don't like Layton either and I've been too lazy to sell it. Free d'homme is worth a smell. To me, it's kinda like a 'distant' cousin of Dior Eau Sauvage Parfum. I can see the two fragrances in the same universe.
I first heard of Soul on this channel. I have it now and really like it. I think this one will follow soon. One of these days CN will get better distribution but their prices will go up. Don't wait too long, people!
Excellent! It surely works great as a signature scent. Unfortunately I don't own any full bottles of Nasamatto. But I hope to get some samples for a video. Cheers!
@@ScentZatura yes, it's not a complete formula recycling from Ropion, but he's been lazy on a couple of assignments. He has also used the same template for Penhaligon's The Blazing Mr. Sam. Let's consider these three flankers of each others.
Wonder job again Brodeep. I love the house even though the just released an aquatic 😤 I prefer the edp but the parfum is a close second. I still need to try free d’homme 🫂🍻

Thank You! Oud Malaki is a nice budget designer indeed. Yea, the distribution of CN seems to be all over the place
This really is a FANTASTIC designer. Nice work Praddy
It's superb indeed! Thanks mate!

Oh dear... Yeah, I thought it was rather poor.
wow, like Eau Sauvage? Interesting.. Then I might actually smell try smelling it

Excellent! Enjoy Soul... real nice sweet amber.
This is more of a woody spicy concoction. It's difficult to even get from a neighbor country
My best mate signature scent is this and/or the edt. I would love to know your thoughts on nasomatto and if you own any

Well I have been living under a rock
Lol, why? was not aware of the parfum version?
@@ScentZatura its not in any shop here in sweden and no one is talking about them 😶
Well, now you know😁 Better to look at Italian outlets
Chopard Oud Malaki rebottled for CN.
Interesting🤔 I have a sample of Oud Malaki and was getting a lot of Tobacco from it

Yeah, he has done that with Babycat and Promise too.... Upsetting
@@FRD-HDD great, that means I only have to get one of these 😂
@@ScentZatura What was the template for Babycat?
There is no EDT of Costume National Homme. Only EDP & Parfum version.
Yes, that's right.. I mixed up the EDP as the EDT. Realized it only after posting the video
It’s rather close to Jaipur EDP and to a small extent Cartier Santos in vibe on my skin. So a little disappointed to have smelt this elsewhere.
It sure does have the classic masculine Ambery profile going on. So overlaps and comparisons are there.
The middle / late drydown is rather satisfying. Light smoky amber with a hint of sweetness and soft.
Oh yes, Love the woody ambery spicy sweet drydown
Lost the cap, eh...
Have you seen those bottles?😂 That's the cap and you know it
❤
Always thought costume national was Japanese
I think Comme des Garçons is Japanese
@@ScentZatura yeah that one is
Every time you post a video there seems to be another 10ml missing in that Terre d'Hermes Parfurrr
Haha😄 I am loving it this month... Even my SOTD
@@ScentZatura Is it a vintage bottle ? I keep adding it to my cart but never actually buy it for some reason.
It's from 7 years ago.. which is also why I'd like to empty the bottle. I have a backup from a few years ago when it was heavily discounted
This stays on clothes for days
Yes, noticed that myself

Thanks mate🫂 Yes, The EDP is very good!
That name free d'homme itself was funny
