It's $10,350,000 actually. Not $15m. The judge changed the $5m to the $350k maximum allowed for punitive damages in the state of Virginia where the trial is held.

The compensatory damages that JD won are 10 million. The punitive damages that AH has to pay him went down from 5million to 350.000$ (because that's the legal maximum in the state of Virginia). AH won 2 million from her compensatory damages. So JD won in total 8.350.000$. In their divorce he had to paid her 7 million dollars so in total he's getting back 1milion 350.000$. And then he has to pay his lawyers, so it's probably that there's no economical benefit for him. But he won back his reputation.
