Nice hunt. Personally, I like to flush the grouse and shoot. My aim is not to bag numbers but to enjoy the thrill of trying to hit in flight. Sometimes I come home with nothing but good flushes that my springer offered me.
Hey man.....ur videos r awesome.....but there is something u need to do.....I think I should use the shotcam....so we we can see the exactly thing u r hunting
I actually saw a snipe here in New Hampshire and I had only seen then along the seacoast so i didn’t shoot. Do snipe eat worms like woodcock which is primarily what I hunt for along with Grouse.
hey buddy, That first bird you shot isn't a snipe. Maybe a dowitcher but not a snipe. Snipe have lighter yellow lines that follow the spine and distinctive lateral lines on the face. Snipe are also smaller than the bird you are holding. Other birds in the sandpiper family, like dowichers, are protected by the migratory bird act and cannot be hunted. You should spend more time learning about the birds, and how to identify targets before you hunt them. I could immediately tell on the flush of the bird you shot that it was not a Snipe.
Jesus, the other birds aren't snipe either. Those are definitely dowichers. you see how they are all feeding together, in a flock more than two? snipe feed in pairs or singles.
Nate Fresh in February every year and some time’s January, here in NC we flush snipe in Covey’s , and thirty in a covey is not uncommon, spring heads , or grown over river sandy bottoms are the most likely place to find them and they really like sandy areas with thick vegetation, however it’s only a three week deal every year and some years the season for them is closed before they get here on there migration
bobby green I live in Minnesota and up here they don't group up like that. I only see other shorebirds do that. But the birds he is holding are not snipe. Snipe are smaller than woodcock and those are bigger than a hen woodcock.

Any good recipes for sprucies? Can't say that menthol-y flavour is a win for me.
Nice hunt. I just got myself an old Rem model 11 sportsman in 20 ga. 3 shot model. Perfect for upland birds.
That is a nice setup.
Super hunt and beautiful Brittany Spaniels!👏🏻💯

We are thinking about adding that to the mix from a production standpoint. Thanks for the feedback.

I've seen a few snipe in the fields along the Connecticut River in both Vermont and New Hampshire. Shot and missed! 😄
Birds in Canada usually don't see much human pressure and are "dumb" and lands on trees. Birds in the US usually don't land in sight for hunters
Yeah that’s true. We have an outfitter in Canada about to start taking hunters. Are you interested in that hunt?
Wow super 👌👌👌👌👌
Ruff grouse are far to majestic of a bird to be ground swatted. I rather leave the coverts empty handed than shot one on the ground.

Those are clearly Wilson's Snipe. Google a little before you throw shade keyboard hunter.

You guys just tree and ground sluiced more birds in a day than I have my whole life, yikes! That one male you got was huge Mark.
shooting them out of trees? admirable!
did you even shoot one bird on the wing?
Shooting them out of trees or on the ground is pathetic. Flush the bird man
