for any and all chatters reading ill give the line that has worked for me on more than one occasion especially if you are new to that particular gym: ask if there is a specific machine anywhere thats clearly missing or if the gym staff is typically responsive to requests. like if there is no hack squat or chest machine or something you can ask and its kinda open ended but its not just a yes or no question like dan's "How much longer do you have on this thing" and you can kinda tell by her response if she's into you.
