- This actually surprised me with how good it is!!! Seriously!
I was in the market for a cheapo controller to replace the stock unit on my son's Arrma Typhon. I have historically bought the DumboRC 6 channel controllers due to price and ease of use. However - this LDARC CT01 caught my eye...and it did not disappoint!!!

Looks like a nice radio. I do dumbo because I can use the same radio for 10 vehicles so all I’ve gotta buy is receivers, that being said this looks like a good option and having the screen and the model memory is a bonus for the same price

Great video! I just picked one up for my 1/18 scale crawler. One question is how do I adjust the steering trim since this one has buttons instead of a knob?
The ST knob/switch on the top changes the steering trim.
HI Troy I have an external surface of about 150m cemented (not smooth) and I would like to use a part to create a drift track
i have several machines including SAkura , MTS , yokomo, RDS
my idea is to put this carpet of lawn made of hard plastic on top of the concrete
or instead of this carpet
buy some laminated paint and apply it to the concrete

Ah great - that sounds like a fun project.
Unfortunately, this controller would not be good for controlling a gyro in a RWD drift car. It doesn't have a channel that allows for the control of the gyro in step format. It only allows on/off type control - which is not good.

How do you plan to use it? What car is it for?
Try it for a drift car. So i have something to recommend that doesnt suck when everyone with a spectrum tries to argue their spectrum doesnt have latency issues at 333mhz of digital servo/gyro. All you have to do is swap out the spektrum junk to wake up a car with 0 changes, proves theyre slow protocol doesnt work well with gyros. maybe a cheap option, most gyros have a pot trimmer to set gain. its hard to convince someone theyre $200 controller isnt as good as a gt3 for drifting
I do 100% agree that Spektrum and drift just don't seem to work well together for some reason. Not sure why that is.
Having once drifted with a GT3 though...I can promise you a proper Futaba or Noble makes a HUGE difference.
Hey bud I just received my new LDARC but on the esc I can only plug on channel 1 there’s a tiny cut but for the rest of the channels which I need don’t have the tiny cut so I’m trying to figure out how did you use channel 2-3 on your esc thank you

real shit. I am now on my third radio. same error on all. Steering fault/potmeter glitch.. Haven't even had time to use up a battery.. Just rubbish

It can hold 5 models.
Yes, the batteries are very easy to come by. Example: amzn.to/3Bb7AzL
But note that they are rechargable batteries they provide, so you just recharge it with a USB-C charger, like you use for a cell phone.

@@Organized-_-Chaos For a more basic usage - like crawling or bashing - this controller will do whatever those vehicles would need. For something more like racing or drifting, the Noble is much more appropriate.

Does it matter what MAH the battery is for the controller I have looked it up but they are different MAH'S for the 18650 battery??? Just trying to figure out the battery before I purchase

The wheel looks very high, most high end radios have the wheel lower as most people find this more comfortable
I have both styles of controllers. Never really bothers me personally with either configuration.

Depends on the usage.
The GT5 certainly has some different programming options when it comes to crawling with 4WS and channel mixing that this does not.
Otherwise, might as well save the $$ and get this one.

There is a guide in the controller or in the manual that tells you the steps to take after you hit the button.

I did this mistake as well!
The calibration is the limit of steering and throttle.
Once in calibration mode, you need to follow the instructions on the screen and give full throttle/brake and full left/right.

Sure - especially depending on what use you plan.
