Oh JEEZ! Just"wow" in aww......... But I must admit, the stated $$ figures if I had it and a house to accommodate s room buildout, YEAP! I'd have one like the upstairs rig! I own a very modest rig- Cambridge , Arcam ProJect TT- Node 2 I /, Love that=Burr-Brown tone! and PSB floorstanders I live in an apartment But as is nothing like this equipment, it sounds real good! I have a OC-9 with a Souundsnith RUBY Line Contact custom cart on the table :)
Nice work Jay. Steamroll over the TH-cam Home theater incumbents because you bring the gravitas of High End Audiophile culture. Nice 4K. Showing the Sony GTZ Laser Projector. JVC is a pricier Epson projector. Monster screen and monster Floorstanding shows the pedigree of the configuration Jay recommends. No BS in wall front LCR. Looks like a room Jay could endorse. I like how Jay is just leaping into the clean looking middle class room with enthusiasm for retail electronics. Jay can take out the home theater content creators with 1 video. Wisdom out of Northern Nevada were spawned from former engineers at BG Radia that got bought by projector company Christie. They however only bought the ip, brand name and inventory, the engineers did not stay around this Christie has essentially dropped the brand. BG Radia-Wisdom made all of the in-wall speakers at Skywalker Ranch, which for anyone that ever had opportunity for a private viewing there, it will blow away any theater you’ve ever heard. That theater however had over $2M in speakers. Most BG Radia-Wisdom setups use perforated screen thus allowing LCR speaker to be built in behind the screen. Much better sound field, no added dsp and no visible speakers below the screen
I have a place in Lauderdale. This spot is just 10 minutes away. Hope they are open to visits. Thank you, Jay. On one of your drives through town you were in touch with me about an ATI amp. Now I know why. Very impressive…although I recently switched from the Trinnov DSP to the MSB Ref/DD for 2 channel. DSP can not compare for 2 channel, even when calibrated by the best in the business, Adam. I am ending up with 2 separate systems in 1 space. Very informative and appreciated. Thanks again, Jay. 😊

I have to say it. That first home audio room design choice is awful. You do not want a very busy carpet like that or the chairs. It distracts away from getting lost in the movie itself. You want complete darkness and your eyes only focused on the screen. Vibrant carpet on the floors and vibrant pictures on the walls detract from this. The pictures can also be rattle and vibration points. If you want vivid colors other than the screen stick them behind the line of sight. You do not need 90k projector. You can get amazing room done for 50k.
I agree. Some obvious mistakes. The garish and bright carpet, the frames creating side acoustic reflection points, the white plug (!) on the wall, the mismatched colored chairs (in baby blue, really?), the light colored side walls decreasing contrast… a demo room is supposed to be perfect.
This is their particular theme. Last time I checked I didn't know there was an instruction manual of "dos and donts" when it comes to home theater design. The idea is you select your own color schemes.
@@rahliE777 respect your opinion, but do keep in mind this is subjective. I get all kinds of critics for my Dartzeel preamp being gold color but what is never said is that these same critics own a receiver for a preamp... It's like me criticizing harshly a Lamborghini Aventador in gold color... I can say I don't like the gold color but to say the owner is this or that (bad words follow) and yet the car I own is a Ford fiesta doesn't exactly make me look like the smart guy... I've learned to not throw rocks inside a glass house...
Tip - for an astounding video experience I recommend the 77 inch Samsung Q - OLED flat screens such as the model S95C OLED . Please note I am not talking about the Q -LED models ! I have A/B them first hand with a ten thousand dollar Sony native 4k projectors and the OLED display blew it out of the water. That will leave you some spare change to buy a hundred grand sound system from Jay.

That carpet might be the very ugliest carpet I’ve ever seen lol.. How u gonna have a 90k projector with a carpet like that!
